Ever wondered about the person behind the screen? Well,I have! Everyone has digital footprints through their online identities,but feeling authentic outside these filtered profiles provides comfort sometimes.and just be so,here I am, Julius,pulling back the curtain and inviting you into a glimpse of my world.
I hail from the City of Lights, Naga City, Cebu. where the vibrant energy of a growing city combines with the beautiful landscapes of the Philippines. It's a place where the warmth of the people matches the tropical sun and where I'm currently exploring the exciting, sometimes academic world of academics.
I attend my second year at Cebu Technological University - Naga Campus where I study for a Bachelor of Industrial Technology. Embracing this path requires both dedication and effort yet it teaches me valuable skills to construct and generate new ideas for my future. My life experience extends beyond educational tests and classes. The journey guides young people through family bonds along with their life passions toward realizing their ambition.
My parents serve as the true heroes who make my life story possible. My father works as a construction worker while my mother serves as a housewife yet both dedicate themselves completely to support our family through diligent work and maintain exceptional education standards for our growth. Their sacrifices haven't been unnoticed. The proud moment of my life is that my sister teaching her dream to teach.My father built his daughter's future with his hard work as a construction laborer through each individual block he laid. The story touches me deeply each and every day of my life.
Education at school does not fulfill my entire nature because I need creative outlets. Building things from the beginning through my own hands brings me pure joy because I turn basic materials into functional masterpieces and pieces of art.
Working with wood pieces and creating papercraft brings me pure happiness because I enjoy the whole creative process. The activities of sketching and drawing hold an immense passion for me.
The act of writing down a moment along with emotions or ideas brings out an enchanting power. The creative talents I possess have turned into an additional source of revenue. A symbiotic relationship develops between my classmates and me since they request me to design items for their school projects thus allowing me to spend time doing what I enjoy and earn some additional money.After finishing my assignments and my crafting work you can discover me either playing sports on the court or playing in the esports arena. Physical ability together with mental acuity holds strong importance in my beliefs.
My first time competing in discus throw at intramurals made me feel extremely frightened.I had both lack of experience with discus throws and fear of performing in front of an audience.My heartbeat raced while my palms grew moist.I kept my attention on the technique I had practiced as the butterflies tried to distract me.I released the discus moments after the starting signal.I did not achieve perfect results but my performance was satisfactory enough.The outcome shocked me when I finished as the third-place victor and received the bronze medal.Not bad for a newbie. Experiencing success without fearing new challenges showed me that venturing beyond comfort boundaries leads to surprising achievements. Next year I'm looking forward to progression after this sport has completely captured my interest.
The competitive spirit combined with group support and achievement goals motivates me in all activities. The fun I find most in my spare time is playing Mobile Legends with my classmates and cousins.Having fun while connecting with friends and enjoying their company serves as a relaxing activity to spend our leisure time.
Now,here's a little secret about me, I'm an introvert.As an introvert my personality leads me to retain silence alongside selecting a small number of reliable friends instead of engaging in large social scenes.
Despite being reserved most of the time I maintain a playful personality. While conducting harmless pranks to my family is something I enjoy deeply. As my method of brightening up the world I make it my habit to infuse joy alongside good spirits.
So,why am I here, on this platform? That's all thanks to my cousin, @helianthus-chloe. She's been singing the praises of this community, talking about how it's helped her improve her writing, expand her vocabulary, and share her experiences and thoughts without judgment.That resonated with me.As an introvert,I often find it easier to express myself in writing than in person.The idea of a space where I can connect with others,share my passions,and learn from diverse perspectives is incredibly appealing.
And then there was the orientation organized by Sir @intoy.bugoy last February 2,2025.It was a game-changer.He patiently explained how Hive works,and his enthusiasm was contagious.He inspired me, motivated me, and gave me the push I needed to finally take the plunge and write my first blog post.So, here it is.My first step into this exciting world.
This is me,Julius the student,the son,the craftsman,the athlete,the gamer,the introvert, the prankster.I'm a work in progress,constantly evolving and learning.I'm excited to see where this journey takes me,and I'm even more excited to connect with all of you.I hope you'll join me as I share my thoughts, experiences,and maybe even a few pranks along the way.
