I don't know if it's just me but I find visiting souvenir stores really therapeutic, or perhaps I am just a window shopper, I delight in window shopping, and for me, it's like a fun walk. So when we visited Bohol Bee Farm in April, I never hesitated to get inside their souvenir shop with no plan on buying anything. I just want to see what's inside. Come join me today for a virtual tour!
I could still remember how the room was arranged. But first, let's just appreciate its yellow doors. It's very appealing! What's so nice about Bee Farm's stores is that they try to make them as native rustic as possible, the design, the accessories, everything is Boholano, of course, it's a souvenir shop so it must depict Boholano items that visitors can bring to their families back to their homes.
As soon as we entered the room, we could see the highlights - Honey. On the right side is their cashier, and opposite to that is their display of consumable products - honey, spreads, teas, and coffee. Oh, they have corn coffee in tea packs, it's very convenient! But above all, we have to also highlight Bohol's own Calamay! They have those which are in coconut shells! They got peanut kisses too by the way.
Oh, I forgot to mention that they create these banners which can be customized, customers can request whatever phrases or sentences, quotes, or Bible verses they want to be embedded in it. They are not sold cheap, mind you as the base material is from their weaved products.
Aside from that, they have baskets made from coconut tree parts. It's cool! And their bags, hammocks, are displayed in another area inside this shop, we have to walk further inside to see them. They even have painted native bags, which reminded me of Heart Evangelista!
Now, I have mentioned at the start of this blog that I had no plans of buying anything but, I couldn't resist their own Cab-cab, a crispy snack that is made out of cassava, a root crop and is very abundant in Bohol and banana chips which is Matti's favorite. They use the Cab-cab as their ice cream cones too which makes their ice cream even more unique, we ate them before entering here so we were stuffed going inside as well! They also have other vegetable chips available here.
I guess this blog can't give justice to how cool this souvenir shop is, it's filled with items from different kinds of honey, spreads, food, pasalubong items like Calamay, cab-cab, chips, etc. To their bags, weaved materials, lampshades, etc. Everyone will surely have fun looking into their items. They wouldn't mind you going in and just checking what's inside. The prices may seem to be on the expensive side but if you are really into these native items, you'll surely give in because of how pretty they are, plus, you are supporting local products!
That's it for today. Have a great day!

Wow! They have dark brown and light brown honey. I wonder how much that one gallon of honey cost there?
If I buy something in the shop, I will definitely purchase a small pillow and a gallon of honey. Haha. The honey has a lot of purpose in mind and the small pillow is perfect for my bed. Love this! !PIZZA
