Every 2nd week of May our school "Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges" would held an event called "College Fiesta" it was a way of celebrating the upcoming fiesta of Bogo City and was celebrated for a whole week. How are you hive fam! It's great to be back, @kyssss once again bringing a wonderful blog because It's been ages since I last uploaded here at hive and I missed you guys very much! Today, I wanna share with all of you guys the happenings on the first day of our college fiesta.
The event was started by a grand parade together with teachers, staffs, athletes, and students. Despite the hotness of the weather you can see the excitement and joyous smiles of every students. The parade starts at 8:00 am from CRMC Main and ends at Don Celestino Complex. Sadly, I didn't have a chance to take some pictures due to the hotness of the atmosphere.
Upon arriving at Don Celestino Complex, me and my classmates looked for our assigned spots to sit and a few minutes later, the opening remarks were spoken by one of our beloved teacher and followed by the singing of our national anthem. We sat at the audience seat while the athletes representing their respective courses and grade levels were at the middle of arena.
Later on, stunning and beautiful ladies emerged in the arena to introduced their selves as a representatives of their respective departments. With heads held high, they caught the attention of everyone, and with their stunning and jaw dropping walks, make the audience cheer loudly.
Time flies fast and it's already noon. I went at plaza to wait for my friend because he wants me to accompany him taking his graduation pictorial at No Crop.
After taking his pictorial we went to buy some things at Watsons such as lotions, shampoo, and face cream.
After buying the things we need we went to grab some snacks at Star frappe, there we ordered two milkteas.
We stayed at bogo plaza to passed time because the next event will start at 8:00. We felt buying some snacks while we were chilling at BOGO plaza, outside there are many foodstalls, as the fiesta is nearly in sight. We bought french fries for our snacks. We spent our time there until afternoon, at 5:00 in the afternoon we went home so that I can prepare what I would wear at tonight's event.
Exactly 7:00 pm after eating dinner at my house, I hurriedly went to bogo City, upon arriving I can see the students who were confidently modelling at the center of the arena before going to their seats (One of the event is modelling for all students of CRMC to judge their Outfit Of the Day).
When everyone's done with showing their outfits, the event was once again started by a prayer and followed by a dance competition of each departments.
The event lasted until 12:00, after the event ends I waited for bus to passed by as it was already late. I waited for an hour before I rode a bus (Communication is hard when it's past 10 o'clock in the evening) and arrived at home safely at 12 midnight.
