It's a blessed Sunday. As Caleb turned eight months old weeks ago, it's too late to share about it. I took some photos with the thought of writing about them, but it eventually slipped off my mind.
A quick flashback.

On February 13, he hit another milestone, turning eight months.
As a routine, I prepared to take a few photos to serve as a core memory of his first year. Unlike before, it was much easier to take shots; he didn't look at the camera. Now, as in this stage, he wanted to grab anything, but still, I was lucky to have a few pictures.
The outfit.
Somehow, I could control myself from buying him clothes he would outgrow. It wasn't a waste as I passed it to his cousin. My sister's son.
I only rummaged into his closet this time to look for potential attire, and I'm glad I found this.

This is one of the gifts he received during his baptism. Why is the theme athletic? Our future basketball player, like his Dad.

As for the shoes, I bought a new pair from TikTok for only $3.
No more cakes, as we will be saving it on his first birthday 😆.
The photo?
He was great as he was in a good mood and was able to get his attention. That prevents him from grabbing the DIY board.

This reminds me of those naughty kids back then. I mean his facial expression.
And so, on Sunday, the next day, we attended the Holy Mass.
It's not only this time, but we started attending as long as the weather is fine. Why?
I wanted him to grow up and get used to it. Though I am not that religious, these past months made me realize HIS goodness. Perhaps it's aging that hit me, but years from now, I visualize myself serving at the church. With all the challenges, pain, heartaches, and problems, life is still good 😊.
Though it was a bit tiring, I still pursued it weekly.
You know what I discovered?
It was quite frustrating, but my vision was no longer 20/20. Caleb and I were sitting in the fifth row from the altar, yet the words on the monitor were already blurry 😆. Not only that, but it seemed it was dancing. I can't help it; I am getting old 🤣.
In fairness to my son, he was so behave. He was just busy looking around, and later, he would just sleep. My only problem was that few people touched him. I appreciate that they find him cute, but considering there is still a virus, they should not touch his face, chin, and, most especially, his chubby hands.

It was always his smiling face (if he liked a certain person), chubby face, and those curly hairs that attacked their attention.
That reminds me, should I look only at some t-shirt with the slogan hey, don't touch me, my Mom would be angry.
On the other hand, I appreciate those who refrain and consider that he is still a baby with a weak immune system.
Last Sunday, while singing a gospel song, I saw the old lady beside us holding his hands. Considering this is still the countryside, it was hard to call her out, so I just had Caleb on the other side, away from her.
No, I am not being petty, but I believe that my baby, my rules. Thus, those rules are kind of hard to implement with everyone 😕.
Is there anyone who feels the same?
I asked Marse @cindee08 earlier, and that quick conversation helped.
