Hello, Hivers! I am back with another episode of sharing with you my Holidays! I guess it's not too late to post this blog, for those who can't get the hang of 2023 in moving forward and living a new year!
For today's blog, I will be sharing the beautiful and magical Christmas lights of Bogo Plaza! Every year during Christmas time, this plaza is the gateway spot among people who want to see the Christmas lights on Holidays.
They decorate every corner spot of the plaza, making the place a people attraction, especially at Nighttime.
You can vividly enjoy the lights, especially at night so I suggest that those who want to plan to go there, make sure it's during nighttime.
This place is very near our school that's why after the event was done at my school I decided to go to this place to take some pictures and take a little walk at the plaza with my cousins since our pick up will take a long time to get us, so instead of waiting at school we decided to go at the plaza to see the lights.
You will see a lot of small food carts there selling snacks like popcorn, chips, street foods, and more. Some carts also sell accessories and toys like bracelets, earrings, wallets, and other things.
In the front area of the plaza, you will see a waiting shed. During Christmas, this waiting shed is full of hanging lights that they decorate. This area is near the plaza stage and the amphitheater where the fountain was found. Locals take a specific date, opening the Christmas lights. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go there since it happened to be my sister's birthday as well.
This area here is supposedly used for those vien flowers that spread faster during the spring season but when Christmas comes instead of viens these are full of beautiful and magical hanging lights, even the thick bushes here are covered with lights.
You will see a huge Christmas tree that is the same height as the acacia tree here at the center of the wide playground. Many vendors also sell balloons that light at night which improves the stunning view of the spot.
But personally, if I had to choose from many stunning areas at the plaza I would have to choose the fantastic lights hanging from the huge acacia tree. Seeing this I was amazed by how wonderful they have decorated the tree. You can see some huge red Christmas balls hanging up there that make the tree look like it's bearing some fruits. There is a wide wood bench at the center as well so that many people can take pictures while sitting behind the tree.
My second favorite is this area where there are many huge Christmas stars, changing colors. At the center of the huge star, behind where I was standing, you see Jesus Christ, blessing a child and there is a signboard translated Christ is the star of Christmas. I agree with that since he is the center of all living things in this world and he should be acknowledged especially at this time like Christmas.
Another spot we take pictures of is this one where there was a huge igloo made from recycled materials which is styrofoam. They painted the styrofoam to look like white bricks and attached some cotton to make it like it was snowing.
You can go inside the igloo to take pictures there and from the outside, they placed a tree that had cotton attached to its branches to look like it was covered with snow.
On the other hand, this area here is covered with red spots compared to the igloo full of fake white snow made out of cotton. The background was decorated with red foil wrapping paper that they crumpled and attached to the wall.
They also made some ornaments like Christmas lights and a group of fake gifts that were constructed with styrofoam from the inside. Many people also take pictures of the spot. It is a popular area for families, taking pictures of the place.
While this other spot here made me feel like I was in a wonderland place. The area feels like a fantasy. There are tables decorated and chairs you can sit on to take some pictures of.
It feels like a tea party that they decorated with mini ornaments like tea cups and flowers. There are also huge butterflies they created to make the place more fantastic. The trees are also decorated with colorful cutted-like leaves made out of crepe papers to look like it's blooming some flowers.
We headed by the amphitheater but unfortunately, they haven't decorated it yet, so it's quite sad since the fountain should be the center of attraction in the area. It's okay since I have seen them renovating it still, maybe they aren't done restoring the amphitheater's whole area.
We were heading back to the waiting area when we saw the old train being decorated with lights. We did go towards the train to take pictures of its amazing spot. They decorated it very well compared to its original look, especially during the day but since it's old I understand how it looks especially when it can be very visible in the morning.
To my surprise, it didn't look very old when it was decorated with different colorful lights. I was amazed by how the locals are dedicated to making the old train more livelier and beautiful. After taking pictures of it we were finally heading back home since we were picked up already by our uncle.
Having a light walk there, strolling around different spots, and taking pictures of it made me feel amazed by how the locals made an effort to decorate the plaza. Praise them for giving us this amazing and beautiful spot full of dazzling Christmas lights!
And that wraps up today's blog! A huge shout-out to everyone who took the time to stop by and check it out. Your support means the world to me! Looking forward to catching you all next time. Until then, take care and stay awesome! 👋✨
