Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well. It’s been a while again that I haven’t updated anything here. My apology guys if you just know that almost every day I’m fighting the tiredness I felt every end of my graveyard shift.
Anyway, just a quick glimpse of my life. I wanted to share this important milestone my son Lucas achieved. To all my compatriots from the Philippines for sure most of us are very busy attending graduation day from left to right.
In my case, I almost did not make it to my son’s graduation day but luckily I was saved by my substitute immediate team head. My supervisor was on leave and I already filled a leave for this day ahead but sadly he declined it due to the workload we are experiencing now which I was so disappointed with.
So I planned to go straight home after my end of shift at 6:30 AM and it took 4 hours to travel home then I had to go back again before my 9:30 PM shift. Because of that, I tried to ask if I could make a half-day shift so I still have time to rest and sleep. Luckily my team headed to my operation manager and was able to have approval that I can have a voluntary timeout, it's not considered an absence but the same thing i no pay. It may sound awful to me since I still have leave credits which they said they don’t have allotted time yet for leaves but anyway I’m still happy to know that I can attend my son's moving-up ceremony without worrying a time to go back and might go to work without sleep again.
Moving forward I got a bit emotional on this aside that I felt proud I’m thinking also that time is flying so fast just a few months now we will be starting again a new journey for my younger son's future one step at a time and so thankful also that aside from their father they also received support from their grandparents who take them to school and take good care of them while I’m away. 🥲
I just hope and pray that I and my husband will always have good health always to accomplish our duty as parents so one day our kids can have a better life than we do now.
By the way, Lucas received four awards in total. He got a Caring and Sharing award, Creativity award, Role model award, and a Medal for a special award. I know it is still the beginning but hoping and praying for a fruitful labor soon but with no pressure of course 🙂.
And that’s it for me today guys. Still have to sleep getting ready for another stressful shift later. Thank you so much for reading this far I promise I’ll spare time to post for our little celebration soon.
Congrats Lucas ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ, so glad you were able to attend it. Ang dad lang coz half day, sana ni while day na para naman mas mahaba time mo kay Lucas and mejo mahaba din ang rest, aigoooo. Pero ganon talaga no, no choice. At least pwede na ang half day. Anyways, good job, both of you (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
Oo nga e napaka bilis ng oras grabe. Need na namang mag trabaho ulit. Anyway maraming salamat sa pagbisita dito.😊
Congrats Lucas! 🥳 It's good to hear po na you are able to attend your son's graduation. I'm looking forward for Lucas next journey :)
