Hello,
How is everyone? I hope we are all doing well. It's like just when we celebrated the new year and now we are already in February. Time flies so fast and I can feel the adulthood now. There are so many things to think about that even if we are exhausted, we will continue to work hard to survive.
So far, how is the beginning of your new year? I? I'm still fighting the challenge of life and thanks to God I was able to cope because I know that as long as we are alive there is still hope.
By the way, it's been a long time since I've last posted here again, I'm sorry, I'm running out of English at work already. Lol, just kidding. 😂
I've missed blogging, it's just that I'm too lazy and don’t have so much time almost every day. After coming home exhausted from work from assisting different foreigners concerns my brain is too drained already but now I want to continue what I started here in HIVE “hopefully” even little by little cause I know I want this. Honestly, I would have liked to start vlogging but I'm too shy to record myself at the camera so I’ll just stay here 😂.
Moving forward I know it's a little late to share but these are some of the moments in our celebration of Christmas and New Year. Our celebration was different because our Aunt came home from the US, so our celebration seemed to be social.
My handsome sons Carlo and Lucas
This is not how we used to celebrate the holiday season, but because aunt is home and she wants us to celebrate together as families since she only gets home once in a while she lets her siblings and family members come over to her house in the City to celebrate. In the photos, I have not arrived yet since I still have a shift before Christmas Eve. My husband did make it here because of work but I have my two kids. Unluckily Lucas was sick at that time and you could see him lying on the couch but seeing my eldest son Carlo (wearing blue) there was so amazing and having fun too seeing many of his relatives that time that he never met yet before.
Take note that this is all my aunt Marets' expenses, from food, transportation, games prizes, gifts, and cash. We are really lucky to have such a very generous aunt.
From left to right, that's my father, my aunt Maret, my uncle Juans’ wife Gina, aunt Lora, aunt Fe, aunt Ester, and also my uncle Tatas' wife Jessie. Unle Tata and Juan did not make it here since they chose to stay in the provinces to secure the house and the livestock at home.
And this is me, I arrived late maybe an hour before Christmas Eve I missed the pictorial and the fun and games but that was okay I didn't want to be left behind so I took a picture in front of the Christmas tree so that I could have remembrance photo in my gallery.
In addition to the celebration that our aunt Maret did for Christmas, she also prepared for those who were not present in the city for another celebration in the province. This time food is so much since it’s a lot cheaper here and to buy live pigs for lechon.
It's a really good feeling to see people you only see and talk to once in a while, so I'm also very thankful that sometimes there is something like this. I hope that many more of our families will be successful in life so that there will be more like this and I hope, Lord, if it becomes true, please include me and those who are reading this as well. 🙏
And that’s are some of the events of our past celebrations. I just want to share it because why not I'm happy with it and I want to keep it here. What about you? How do you celebrate those holiday seasons?
