Hello everyone! Happy weekend. First day, first blog. Today, I'm gonna show you my route on the way to the other property of my boss in the northernmost part of Cebu (Daanbantayan). To start with, I'm gonna do a PMS or check up on the multicab that I'm gonna use since my destination is quite far. This also serves as a reminder for everyone to always check coolant, brake fluid, engine oil level, belt, etc before traveling because your car is the half part of your body while you travel anywhere. If something happens to your vehicle on the road and you're alone, you'll be paralyzed also.
The Main reason for today's journey is to pay for the bamboo stem (locally known as guod) that were delivered to the beach house last Monday and Friday. As an overview, these bamboo stems were used to cover the front and back surface on the concrete walls of their beach resort in order to make it look like native.
The owner wants everything to be simple and natural. Each bamboo stem costs 40-45 PHP. Today, I'm gonna pay for 177 pcs. But before that, ride with me as I go, stop, buy and drive.
My first stop is at the gas station. The driver is thirsty, and so is the cab😂. I always buy gas from this station because... Hmmm just because 😂😂. Actually, I'm one of their valued costumers. I have this Gas and Go card and it seems like a waste if I'm not gonna use this.
I don't care if their gas price is high or low but I just want to use their card for points. Time will come that the points will be used in exchange for gas or some gas and go souvenirs like the one below.
For this trip, I just need to add an amount of 500 PHP fuel which is about more or less than 7 liters.
Next stop is at CEBECO 2 Office. I'm gonna inquire about the electricity bill for the beach resort in Daanbantayan because the maintenance personnel there called me last week that the reading team didn't read our bill for unknown reasons. So I need to know the amount to be paid before the deadline so I can pay ahead.
My third stop was Citi hardware. Earlier this week, one of the crew in the beach told me that our main bulb was busted. I'm just looking for an 18-watt LED bulb to replace the broken one. It's pretty awkward to enter a wide store strolling around, walking along the aisle, heeding to the electrical supply and picking a single item.
Well, I don't care😂😂 I'm here because I need to. Way better than window shopping. Anyway, after paying the bulb, I went straight to Daanbantayan passing through the beautiful "Aisle of Medellin".
The mesmerizing beauty of nature above and the green field is observed along the aisle making me drive slowly and enjoy the view.
As usual, I love feeling the breeze because it refreshes the mind full of stress and what ifs. If you're a nature lover, you can't deny the fact that you'd love to stop if you can see this kind of view as I did.
We've been each other's trustees since college. I'm used to visiting her house too. Her pets already knew me and even missed my presence. Meet "Happy" and "Siomai".

Their names were just derived from the owner's favorite food/snack. There's another one actually named kimchi but we're not friends 😂😃😝. As of these two, They always welcome me with a wagging tail. I didn't stay here for long. I just handed her the folder, eat lunch, have a little talk about random things and then bade good bye...
Finally, I reached my destination!
My final stop is the private beach resort. This is where I stayed during college days. I can't say I missed the place because I visit here often. My main job here for now is to inspect the progress of the project, take pictures, talk to the crew for their needs, and update my boss for everything. Latest pictures were shown above. Afterwards, I bid good bye to the crew and visit the bamboo supplier to pay for my debt. When everything's done, I went straight home with a sleepy eyes. I forgot to take a nap in the beach house like I used to.
