It is no longer just a dream because, finally, I achieved it. Thank you, Lord!
July 3 marks a very significant day. It was when everything about me started. Just when I thought I could no longer enroll in my dream course, I got a call informing my acceptance to enroll in the BS Accountancy program on the same day four years ago. At the same time, here I am, reaping the fruits of my labor, patience, and hard work on the very same day.
What made this day even more special is that I am also celebrating my 22nd birthday today. Indeed, this day is overflowing with joy, and I am more than delighted to share it with everyone else.
The sun had almost set down when our university graduation ended. We took the chance to take photos of ourselves and our friends. It's probably the last photos we took as classmates because, after this day, we will already be embarking on our chosen careers. However, the bonds we have formed; memories we have shared; experiences we had together; and all the things we did will always have special parts in our hearts, especially mine.
As I humbly celebrate this unforgettable day, I sincerely thank everyone, especially my family, for believing in me and being supportive. Having their backs through ups and downs is something I am very thankful for. That is why I am more than proud to have them, for they are low-key, being the best people ever, even when we hardly make ends meet.
I have always been thankful to my parents, but today, I want to express my sincerest gratitude. I am forever grateful for all the things they have done and for all the things they have sacrificed. The love and care they poured made me whole, and I have come this far because of them. It was difficult, but it became bearable because of them. Most of all, the lifelong lessons they have imparted to me serve as my guide toward this path, and I am always more than grateful for that.
My whole family and relatives have always been so generous too. That is why I also want to take this moment to sincerely express my gratefulness to them for everything they have shared and given. They have helped me in numerous ways, and though it is just simple, I am proud to share this milestone with them.
My college life became colorful because of the people I got acquainted with. To my circle of friends whom I've spent my years with in college, they are truly the best. I am grateful beyond words. All I can say right now is that thank you for making this journey bearable and fun.
Further, I have come this far because of all the wisdom, knowledge, and pieces of advice from all my mentors, teachers, and professors whom I am deeply indebted for all the things they have imparted and done. Words are not enough, but I thank them all for sharing their expertise and knowledge with us.
To everyone, I wasn't able to mention, especially you, my co-writers in this amazing platform, I am very thankful to all of you. There are a lot of things that this platform has given to me, and I am proud to say that I have become who I am today and I have achieved what I have attained today because of what I learned from here also and what I earned, which helped me a lot during those times I need some emergency funds for my studies.
Above all, I thank God for His grace, guidance, and never-ending blessings. Truly, "He has made everything beautiful in its time." - Ecclesiastes 3:11
