Sirao Flower Garden - Cebu
March 22, 2023
These photos I took when we went to this place a few months ago have been here in my album for quite some time, waiting to be uploaded. Guess what? They're finally uploaded. I was still thinking if I will include the photos with me as the subject since I feel shy, but then I realized, why would I be ashamed of something that made me happy for a few moments?
Prior to it, we were bombarded with lots of activities, making us have seemingly non-ending sleepless nights. It felt like hell, but looking back at what I have accomplished recently, they were all worth it. Anyway, let's get back to the time when we were there. I am truly in happy mode at that time, not to mention the genuine smiles I flashed in these photos and those perfect moments I shared with my fellow JPIAns. It has been a while since the last time an academic contest brought immense delight to my heart.
We got to Sirao after an almost hour of travel from the hotel we stayed in. It was an hour of mesmerizing moment because I got to see more of what Cebu has to offer in terms of landscape and nature's beauty. From the green towering trees we passed by to the happy inhabitants flashing their smiles as they walked on the road, I couldn't help but feel amazed.
The feeling grew stronger when we got to finally see the entrance. After paying and getting our stamp, our phones have been ready. It was a pictorial garden after all, so who would be shy to bring out their phones? Not me, to be honest, even when I am really a shy type of person.
Those arcs with birds on top of them were the things I noticed first. We then just found ourselves finding our spot for the photo opportunity. When I got my chance, I smiled. Believe me, it was a genuine one.
Every spot was instagrammable. One of my favorites was the hand-like structure where you can pose anything you want on top of it. I don't know why I laugh at it, but it felt like I am not the person at that moment. It's like, that side of me has been waiting for so long to be possessed. I guess it's just the perfect moment to be that way haha, lol.
The mesmerizing view of valleys from afar with those various flowers in front of us emitted a dazzling vibe someone would enjoy. My fingers just suddenly did the finger hearts sign. I felt tired after roaming around the place, so I had a fresh buko juice outside.
Before we went to another place, the nest, the lover's corner, the mini windmill house, the shade, and everything that there still lingered on my mind while on the ride. Indeed, it was an incredible experience, and I would want to experience it again soon with my whole family.
As I take a look at these photos again, all those wonderful memories that were inculcated in my mind resonated again. Although what I mentioned was just a glimpse of what I actually experienced, I hope you enjoyed it.
It was indeed one of the best places I have ever visited.
Sirao, thank you for the worthwhile time I've spent there. Thank you for the splendid and scenic view. Somehow, it felt as if I do not have something that was stressing me. It was light, comfortable, and in fact, remarkable.

Wow! Ang Ganda Naman Dito. The flowers are blooming, the view is fantastic and the place is very relaxing.
You're blessed to be there at nakapag relax din kahit papano.
Opo, and I am thankful kasi I've been longing for so long at that time to have such experience, after all the struggles and all others things we went through in the BSA program.
