That night in Naga Boardwalk and Plaza, it felt like stepping into a magical storybook. The wonderful decorations and Christmas lights sparkled like a sky full of stars, casting a warm glow on the surroundings. Walking through the boardwalk felt like strolling through a memory lane adorned with the holiday spirit. Laughter and joy echoed against the mesmerizing place, creating a magical atmosphere that wrapped everyone in the pure nostalgia of Christmas charm.
Hello my dear hivers! I hope you enjoyed the first week of this year. Reflecting on the past year, 2023 brought a wave of cherished memories and valuable lessons that linger in my heart. The enchanting moments and experiences have left a significant part, a deep appreciation for the year gone by. For this post, let me take you to a particular memory that stands out as a precious gem in my 2023!
During the festive Christmas season, my love for exploration led me to the enchanting Naga Boardwalk and Plaza in Naga Cebu. The place was bustling with holiday spirit, filled with people traveling and wandering around. Our journey to this amazing destination filled with laughter and so much happiness creating a special place in our hearts.
It was 5pm when we traveled from Cebu City to Naga Cebu. Due to heavy traffic, it took us two hours to be in this place. But everything was all worth it. I got stunned by the sparkling lights and the lovely decors everywhere.
Standing tall and adorned in a vibrant array of colors, the Christmas tree welcomed us with its enchanting presence. The sparkling lights created a captivating display that filled the space with holiday cheer. It stood as a symbol of joy, inviting us to enjoy the warmth of the season and embrace the magic of the festivities. The towering tree, with its twinkling lights and decorative elements, made me have my pose. I can't let this moment pass by without taking pictures. As always, thanks to my supportive photographer❤️.
In a charming spot that captivated my attention, a myriad of lights gracefully aligned, creating a mesmerizing view. The twinkling display felt like we are in a magical land. It offers a moment of tranquility amidst the crowd that surrounds the place.
After strolling for fifteen minutes, we got hungry. We went to the famous restaurant in this place, but sadly it was too crowded. We can't wait to eat any longer so we moved to another place and it was still the same. In the end, we chose the not-so-crowded place - the pizza corner . It was not the place where we expected to have our meal but we wanted something to satisfy our hungry stomach. We ordered Hawaiian pizza paired with spaghetti and lasagna.
We continued roaming around and it led us to the Boardwalk. Whenever I see lights I can't help but ask my boyfriend to take a picture of me. Thankfully, I can see how supportive he was and even at times I didn't ask him for favor, he would let me pose and take a shot😅. He's getting used to it and is doing his job patiently.🤣

After strolling on the boardwalk, it led us to the array of roses and tulips that formed a big circle. It surely creates a captivating display that serves as an admiration. The vibrant colors form a mesmerizing presentation to the people. From the passionate red roses to yellow tulips, the garden becomes a favorite spot for people who like photography and to those who would like to be photographed as well. The mix of bright colors makes us feel amazed and reminds us of how beautiful the place is.
Finally, we come to this last spot where you can see the magnificent fountain. Honestly, this is my first time seeing this kind of view so I was utterly speechless. Despite the ground being slippery because of the rain, this didn't stop me from going near and strike a pose like a model. 😅
The night was truly magical, full of beautiful scenes that made me not want it to end. Everything is picturesque and I found myself wishing the night could last longer. I wanted to stay a bit more, but all good things must come to an end to have another beautiful one.
How to get to Naga Boardwalk and Park
• From South Bus Terminal, ride a bus with a route going to Bato-Oslob or going to Carcar and make a stop in Naga Church in front of the Naga Boardwalk.
• From Cebu City Capitol, you will ride a mini bus with a route going to Naga Cebu. It will take approximately forty-five minutes but two hours during rush hours (based on my experience).
• By car, you can just pin "Naga Boardwalk and Park" in the Google map for your guide and you're ready to go!
• What's so great about the place is that it doesn't have an entrance fee which is perfect for family bonding and relaxation.

Indeed! One of my wonderful experiences in 2023. I can't get over with the place. I was there way back 2019 but now it was so different. It really had a huge improvement. Thanks to the people behind this creative creation.
