Cebu City! Experience the faith upon I offered a prayer to the famous Basilica Del Sto. Niño and the busy nights of the hardworking cebuanos. Carbon Night Market and the 360 view of the newest built bridge in the Philippines which is the Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway or also known as CCLEX.

I am very stressed because I can't land a job, and before I got to the city, my very first task was to pray for our guidance while looking for a job. But when I got there, I immediately look for an establishment to apply to. It's cloudy and it's about to get rain. I have shared with you my job hunting experience, which you can find in my post "High Rise Dream: The Reality After Degree." After a few days, I have focused on finding a job, but I forgot to offer some prayers. We decided to go there. Ride a jeepney that can take us to SM Cebu. We get inside and window shop, take our stroll, and just feel the coldness of the place. We can't see the lights outside, so we can't tell if the darkness takes place outside.

I decided to get out and ride another modern Jeep to take us to the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu. I took photos first of the area, and I noticed that the cross and the moon are close to each other, which I find really beautiful.

Appreciate the place and take a look inside as my boyfriend said the. If you noticed that the center altar is empty, That's where the Sto. was Niño was placed but as years past he started growing and now he's no longer in there because he won't fit. That's what he stated; I don't know if that's a fact, but it actually makes sense. Drop some pennies in the donation box and you can get candles to light up.

We light it up with the candles trough the lighted candles in the area. I have offered my prayer, sorry and ask for guidance as well. Afterwards we decided to walk around and proceed to go at Carbon Night Market since I haven't been there ever since.
Busy night, crowded place. Why do the vendors sell their products at night? That's what I have asked for. Steve answered that the street is more busy during daylight as the different vehicles would passed by. And vendors won't place their products accordingly.

Vegetables are what I have seen. Cauliflowers, Broccoli, Gingers, Eggplant and other native vegetables and since it's a mango seasons I also saw pile of mangoes. Not just Mangoes but also apples, tangerines, watermelon which other are place in an ice bucket to chill out. T
We keep walking to find a place to eat since it's already dinner time. We get inside the main market, but most of the eateries are close.

Along the way, I have seen a bunch of beautiful flowers. I have always loved all flowers. I find them aesthetic, beautiful, and a sign of affection as well. Furthermore, we couldn't take the hunger anymore, and we saw a barbecue stall.

So we decided to eat our dinner there. And we had only paid a hundred plus, which is quite affordable. The barbecue tastes good, and it contains blood, chicken intestines, chicken skin, and pork. I feel like we did intake a lot of toxic foods, so I feel so guilty because I know that it's bad for our health, but we still keep eating fast foods. Guilty pleasure, they said.

We bought a slice of watermelon for around 30 pesos. I don't know where we are going anymore. But I just trust the person who navigates the area. Then take a stroll for about 4 or 5 minutes. Along the way, you can see the dark side of the road. There are lots of people who are living on the side of the road. Children who don't have any clothes on. The garbage is everywhere, and I also spotted rats in the garbage area.

So we crossed a road and saw the Cebu City Hall, where you can also see the Sto. Niño Church, which has a very beautiful architectural design. You can also spot the National Museum.

And you will see this old, renovated building that is wrapped in ribbon. My significant other stated that it's an old Cebu City Hall. The rectangular size has a touch of LED light, which is very pretty. The front of it is a road. You can already see how majestic the CCLEX bridge is. We took photos for about a minute, and my boyfriend said to read your feet because we would cross the road by running. Well, it's not just us who crossed the road. He said that below this land that we are stopping is a tunnel, and I was like, woah, really? We arrive at the front of the sea. I did climb the set, and a lot of people are also there.

I admire the bridge, and since it's near the port, you can see boats that are about to sail. You can also see the newly built NUSTAR Cebu and the SM Seaside. My boyfriend shared all the things he experienced while in the city while he was still studying there.

That's all for this blog, everyone. Thank you so much for being with me.

Adios Hivers.

We eat the slice of watermelon there, and I hear a cute, tiny sound of meow, and there's a cute little cat below me. She's so tiny, and when I videoed her with a flash viola, I saw a lot of cockroaches running over the stones. And the garbage as well, and I also saw a guy who's about to swim, and I asked why he didn't clean this place since it has a beautiful view. My boyfriend said that it's hard because there's a port over there, and the dumps from it will go to the sea. After admiring Cebu City at night, I have decided to go home because I feel so tired.
