It was 4 p.m. when we decided to go out.
I wanted to practice my son walking until we went to the bridge.
He didn't hesitate to step on it, trying to walk as fast as possible. And me? I'm trying to keep up so that I can still hold him.
My 1-year-old son can't still walk, so I'm holding his sando to help him balance.
That made him confident, and he didn't stop marching.
This bridge is made of bamboo, which was created and built by my uncle.
This was disrupted whenever typhoons came to our region.
That time we can't go across the bridge. Only my Uncle can.
Good thing bamboo is always available in our area. That's the only thing we need to build the bridge and cross this river.
And now, it's so strong and stable that even a motorcycle can cross.
And I'm happy that my baby sees and experiences this bridge too.
He loves walking on this kind of surface. Compared to a flat and easy walkway.
A lot of times we crossed this bridge back and forth.
I tried to make him sit, but he wanted to crawl.
That's a big no-no, coz the bamboo can cut his knees.
This was a nice sunny afternoon, and we enjoyed it.
Well, he's not smiling, but I'm sure he's happy. Lol.
