Holla,bonjour my dear hivers,It's been a long time.How are you guys?How was life?Its good to be back.
For today's blog I will be sharing to you guys my experience in our Christmas party of our church since we are the santa in misa de Gallo.
In the morning we we're practicing for our dance performance since it has a competition in the party.So as a competitive Santa's we don't say no to competition even though we are out of time.After practicing and all,we headed to the market to buy for our exchange gifts and the gifts should be things that is worth 100 pesos.So I decided to buy a tupperware.When everything is done,I head back to our house to get ready for the party.
The next thing happened, we arrived at the venue early.So we prepared our food and aside of it the church provide us a set of food.So every table has a set of food.
The program started with a prayer and a games.The first game was passed the flour,so there's only 10 players needed for the game and the player 1 need to passed the flour using a card in his/her mouth to the last player and to those group who will have a much flour in their plastic cup will be the big winner.Since we are still busy that time so our co-santa which is the kids participated the game to represent our group and it was so fun because mostly their rival group was in middle age or in their 50's.
After 2 games we proceed to enjoy our dinner.The foods was all out 10/10 hahahahah.It was so good to the point that I will forget my name after eating the foods , char✌️hahaha.I really love how we get along with other group,everytime the other table is out of rice they don't have to worry about it because they know that they can just ask some rice in other table or the other table will also ask for our foods.
After feeding the dinasour in our stomach we got to chill first and enjoy the music.So when the program continue,the competition is started and there are group who do dramas and one thing that really catched our eyes was the drama where Maria gave birth to Jesus.The way the actress/actor portrayed their role was amazing and all I can do is clap👏.But sadly their drama didn't fit to the criteria.
When it is our turn to perform we were just like enjoying the day.When we are in the dance floor our smile reached our eyes.Everyone is so energized and ready to rock on hahaha.After the performance of all the contestant,all of us jammed in the dance floor and everyone is enjoying each moment we have on that day.
Eventually the competition went well, guess who got the big winner for the dance competition?Well,sadly we got teary eyed because we win the big winner woohoo!We can't believe it,because when the party is not yet started we are having a thoughts of backing out because we feel like our performance won't went well since we are lack of practice but I still push it,despite of having negative thoughts.
So the lesson here is sometimes we just have to take a risk in order for us to know the result and whatever the result is,may-it-be bad or good at least you wont regret anything because you tried.We just have to remember that There's nothing wrong with trying.
The party ended with exchanging gifts and raffles.All of us bring a 5 kilo sack of rice to our homes and 2 of my co-santa got the big raffle which is the electric fan.
