At first, I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without going outside
But then I spent so many nights thinking about how things could go wrong
And I grew strong
And I learned not to complain about how long
So I step back
Stay inside my space
“Don't just sneeze in front of people, without a mask on your face!”
We must respect community lock, wash our hands and hide the car keys
Our enemy is an unseen virus that can kill you and me
Don‘t go AW! don't walk out the door
Just stay indoors now
'Covid will not leave us anymore
I will not try to infect my loved ones with the virus
I will not ramble
Nobody deserves to lie down and die.
Oh no, not I, I will survive
Oh, as long as I know how to obey, I know I'll stay alive
I've got all my life to live
And I've got all my love to give and I'll survive
I will survive, hey, hey!!!!!
This is for FUN. I do not own the original music and lyrics of this song. Please don't sue me! I wrote this on my One Note last April 2, 2020. It's crazy how time flies so fast but frankly, I cannot truly believe How I survived the aloneness, the vague look from the people when I accidentally sneeze in public because YO! The face mask is effin uncomfortable!
That's the most important thing during the surge. To just SURVIVE from the virus, from getting your shit together even the anxiety eats your brain. Maybe I survived by letting my thoughts wander. Filled my brain with vast amounts of information to learn some new niche! It's exhausting, but thanks to the resilience I saw in my countrymen even if all seems falling apart, thanks to technology, thanks to my family for letting me be weird, and thanks to GOD for making everything possible.
Hope is that everything.
Allow me to share some Bible verses I recently found. This is relevant at the moment. We all needed this!
Heb 6:19
*This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.
Romans 5:3-5
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment.
I'm grateful that we're on a better note right now. Even if the unseen enemy is not completely gone. I'm more confident about the future. The more I learn about the word of God, the more I understand. When things seem hopeless, eventually at the end... Everything bad that happens will turn out good and sometimes much better!
Spread the word! Share the good news!
