The past few days event was indeed a wonderful and remarkable experience. From the traditional dance of the Philippines that we had witnessed.
Students showcase their talents and skills to dance the various traditional dance in the Philippines such as binasuan, singkil, tinikling and more which shapes the cultureof our native Filipinos and our national identity.
They also have the traditional games or what we called as "Laro Ng Lahi that we only experienced when we were elementary but now we never expect that we will got this opportunity to experience this kind of game again which remember our childhood moments.
I'm glad that I'm able to join this kind of activity and got the chance to to play of one of the favorite traditional game the "Pantintero".
First I was hesitant because Im afraid that I've forgotten the rules of playing it but my classmates was the one who encourage me to join since they believe that I have potential in playing that game.
Fortunately my friend was also volunteer herself to play too when she saw that I'm on the list it gives her courage to play and so we're in a team.
When the game is about to start were a bit nervous cuz our opponents are kinda tough and competitive and only one team will declare the champion therefore there's no 2nd or 3rd placer so whoever win in the first game will be the to compete to the next game.
After all the challenging and breath taking game we declared as the champion for the Laro Ng Lahi " Patintero " category. We received a cash prize, certificate and a medal. We never thought that we will reach this far despite the heat in the middle of the game.
There still a lot of games such as Giant Volleyball, buwan-buwan , hide and seek, planting rice , bunong niyog, tug of war , Maria went to town, Chinese Garter, Sack Race, Jolen...
Some we missed to see due to the duration of our game. However we're glad that our classmates took some videos of the games
so were able to catch up.
We also had a raffle that gives a Sack of rice, 5 kilos of rice for conselation prize, a phone and a laptop . Though our named wasn't selected were still glad cuz we enjoy the event and everyone is gathering altogether
To celebrate this momentus event.
Lastly, to witnessed crowning night for the Mr and Ms Db 2025. Every program gathered together to give their full support to their representative. The crowd was full of students cheering, screaming, and even bringing trumpets and drums.
Overall, it was joyous moment and a blast of a night . Here's to another amazing and fabulous experience that yet will turn to wonderful memories.
