"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."- Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu.
Hello my dear fellow Hivers! Have you experienced making a structural plan of a building using the Minecraft? Here, I'll be showing to you some. But I was not the one who made it. Who might that be? And what is it for? That's what I'll be sharing to you today.
The Long-term Plans
When I arrived in school last July 25, 2022, I saw many things that I thought I could do for the improvement of the school. I know that the learners and teachers needed them but they couldn't ask because of meager budget intended for the school. The source of fund is what we call, Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) fund for the monthly expenses of the school. That fund is from the government allocation through the Department of Education (DepEd)Central Office and Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
In other words, that's the first problem that I have to face to realize my 'dreamed projects' for the school. In fact, the first thing I did was to invite one stakeholder to donate the what-I-called School Amphitheater. But, after a few months, nothing has changed. There was no communication to either agree or deny the proposal.
I made another proposal to but I was told that it was far from reality due to crisis brought about by the previous Pandemic. So, that's it. I stopped making proposals or requests to other stakeholders.
I assured the teachers that we would be able to do the projects little by little until all would have been realized accordingly.
So, the first step was to make a design of what it really looks like. Under my guidance and supervision, I requested my youngest boy to make a design based on what I have to say one by one. He agreed accordingly because he knows how to build structures using the Minecraft. That's why, I was optimistic that it would be achieved soon. And, these are what came up with the guided drafting of the planned design.
These pictures were created by my son through my phone under my direct guidance, inputs and supervision using Minecraft Gaming App
The Ongoing
When I started the prior project, such as, the construction of the covered pathway from the gate to the Home Economics Building, I felt that there will be more projects that can be connected to it, thus, making partial realization of some portions of the Long-term Planned Project.
The Realization
It's really true that "a thousand miles begins with a single step."
As I started my first move, I felt that this will be the beginning of the successive moves until all will be accomplished accordingly if God permits me to do so with my health and soundness of decisions.
In fact, everytime I see a little accomplishment that I thought connected to my project, I feel that my dreams were fulfilled by and by.
For me, nothing would be done without starting the first move, like this one below...
This one started from a wish but later realized little by little. ( My utility vehicle is here because I installed the electrical lightings that you can see glowing without using a ladder. Using again my skill as electrician, as I've mentioned previously... 😊.)
What matters most is our decisiveness to pursue no matter how difficult. If we persist on our strong decision, the achievement follows as it is hoped for.
Hoping to share to you the school's next accomplishment/s in my next blogs. This is not to gain impressions for myself but just to show that I really care for my school children and teachers. This is one of my top priorities in school.
That's all for today my fellow Hivers. Thank you for your time. Until my next blogs. Wishing the best for you and bye...
Wow!Congratulations Sir @natsve54 ,for the Newly accomplished project❤️Yes,it's true "A journey of thousand miles begin with a single step"Little by little you can accomplished your project at the right time. Thanks for sharing Sir❤️You're really a great leader🙂
Although slow but consistent)...😊. Although we step slowly, but still we can make thousands of steps❤️. Thank you mam for the compliment.Thank you mam @lovinglymers. That's true mam. In fact, I always heard from my father the saying, in our dialect, "Bisag hinay basta kanunay" (
I like how you've involved your son and leveraged on whatever available technology you have. That was a great collaboration! Happy to see such innovation
Yes, that's true. I don't personally know how to use this technology. And I've noticed that my boy can make structures using the App. So, I asked him if he can do the project for me. He readily agreed.
So, giving all the details and specifications, and with trials and errors, he later succeeded in what I was thinking. I told him to save every portion of the structure including the top views and all the sides. Thank you @scion02b for your feedback.
