This was during my Christmas vacation. From Singapore, I met with two of my best friends from college. My parents did not know that I was already in the Philippines. I kept this as a secret as I know them - they would not allow me to leave home once I got there.
- CEBU -
So from Singapore, I flew straight to Cebu. When we got there, we also met up with a friend who helped us go around Cebu.
While we were there, we visited:
- Mactan Shrine
- Lapu Lapu Shrine
- Magellan's Cross
- Sto. Nino Basilica Church and Museum
- Tops Lookout

And we checked-in The Henry Hotel Cebu - a unique, full of personality and charm with quirky décor boutique hotel.
- BOHOL -
On our second day of vacation, we already made our way to Bohol by ferry, where we spent our time in:
- Loboc River Cruise
- the magnificent Chocolate Hills
- Tarsier Conservation Center
- Baclayon Church (was under renovation because of a recent earthquake that time)
- Blood Compact Shrine
Y'know, I have really small eyes, that's why I need to do that to look like them 🤪
On that same day, we went back to Cebu.
Following that day, we had the leisure to maximize the "extraordinariness" of the hotel before we headed out to buy souvenirs and to fly back to Manila. Of course, we did not miss our chance to bring home some dried fish and to try the legendary lechon Cebu!
