EXPLORING BAKING : THE JOY WE FOUND IN BAKING

Hello dear hivers, how are you? I hope you are all fine in your respective location. For todays blog, was our journey of being trainees at KM100 Training Center, Bogo City, Cebu and the joy we found as we practice and enhance our baking skills for almost three weeks. The session was more of an actual training and a bit of lecture before hands on.

Today was the making of choco moist wherein cocoa powder is one of the main ingredient, after mixing wet and dry ingredients, we make sure that the baking pan has lard in it and also wax paper, before putting the mixture.

Baking process for me is complicated as you need to be very careful in putting up ingredients accurately, we experience that the baked products don't have baking soda and that the output was just different. Every ingredients in baking has its own use. Baking was more of a science, measuring ingredients exactly,mixing method needs to be right, baking time needs to be accurate to make the product looks good and not burned.

Giving instructions about the detachable baking pan and inform us the importance of using such baking tool. We tried the normal baking pan but the hard part is when we take out the chiffon cake from the pan and others are sticking at the sides so detachable is easy for everyone.

Our break time calls for us to take a nap and continue baking after one hour☺️☺️

That batter mixture is ready to be put to a baking pan, set the oven for 35-45 minutes and in a 300°F.

The good thing about being busy for the whole day after the class was then followed by relaxation. They planned to go to pantaland to breathe some fresh air. The place is considered a very relaxing spot because of the very cold weather after the afternoon. This place is situated beside the sea and that very cold air os present, just sit for for a little while and enjoy the breeze.

We come from a different families and that upbringing was also different but then when we talk about going out together and making memories, it was then the similarities of the most of us. I never consider myself as perfect as what others are expecting, all I want is to enjoy the moment and making the most of my 2024 really memorable. I feel like one of the most lucky person residing in my current place, as I was able to benefit the scholarship given by the training provider.

I want to end the training not perfect by the time I will be baking myself. Discovering your potentials and making sure that your mistakes will be your great foundation to baking quality baked goods. To more mistakes I have to pass by after discovering and trying to bale myself then. Explore on a many recipes to bake after buying and completing all of the ingredients needed soon.

Making friends with new people was amazing, you are able to discover different sides of them. There are people who are very generous and people who loves to enjoy whatever it is they are experiencing ing life, hard battles and very relax life and more. There are people who are very hardworking when it comes to classwork and very eager to still learn more after the session. There are people who took the time practicing on how to bake at home even if they have a lot to do.

I guess all of us want to practice at home everytime the training is done at school. But the reality is that we don't have complete tools and equipment in baking and specially ingredients call for a more budget from the daily lives expenses.

The joy we found in baking was then right there the time we start practicing and knowing some of the techniques the whole training session, we are not experts but I guess i should say we got the guts to bake our own if given the chance. As our instructor tells us to always listen and apply what we have learned, assessment will still be this month and that will be the day we will make sure to apply everything.

As we wait for the assessment to come, we have to study a little and practice if we can. Practice as they say makes perfect.

I really love to try baking when I have some spare time since we have an oven at home and is getting really damaged soon when it remains unused. I love that this training center is really so hands on in the process! Happy to see you enjoying it as well. A passion, a hobby and can also be another source of income.
