Hi hive babies I'm back again,how are you? I am now here again to share you a blessful experience of mine last July 1 2024.
As we all know July is a month that full of nutrition. And also we know how important to have good nutrition in each of us.
So as a mother of 2, since my second baby is only 6 months I am still part of BF1KD MOM. Short explaination of BF1KD is stand for Barangay First 1000 Days. First 1000 Days means from your pregnancy until 23 months of the child. BF1KD implemented for each Banrangay in each Municipality. This kind of group is a way to give some guidelines to each pregnant and mother on how to take care properly the baby from your pregnancy until 23 months old. Furthermore there are also have a instruction to be healthy pregnant and having a healthy baby.In this way they help us also for not having a malnurished kids.
And here is my experience as a benefeciary of Community Pantry in our barangay, each barangay in our municipality have 10 benificiary. Our municipality have 19 barangay and Barangay Don Gregorio Antigua Borbon Cebu is one of the biggest barangay of our municipality which where I lived in.

The Municipal Health Office of the Municipality of Borbon celebrates the 50th Nutrition Month this July with a kick-off activity this afternoon with the theme, "Sa PPAN sama-sama sa nutrisyong sapat para sa lahat!".ππ₯¬π₯¦π₯ππ²πͺ
The Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) is a national plan that aims to reduce all forms of malnutrion among Filipinos.
As we celebrate the nutrition month every barangay build a booth that full of fruits and vegetables not only that also other necessity foods. Together with officials and barangay health worker in each barangay, each of them are trying their very best to build the most attractive booth. To honestly say our barangay didn't win for the booth but we are still proud for giving the participation.
Moving forward, while we are waiting for distributing the goods in the other side the host of the program was announcing the winner in every different kind of category. Our barangay win the 2nd placer of BNS (Barangay Nurse Scholar).
After distributing the vegetables and fruit in each beneficiaries of barangay. I quickly take look of what I get and very grateful to have the opportunity of being beneficiaries. I appreciate receiving a lot of vegetables and not only that I also recieved a 3 kilo of rice.
It's nice to be a healthy, but I know we have different way to be healthy. Eating vegetables and fruit are so helpful for being healthy one especially to those babies and pregnant. Some of us are doing proper diet with exercise to be healthy and there's nothing wrong with that.Being a healthy one is the most important to live long.
For me love and care is the best way to have healthy family. Give them a fullest love you can give because through with that love they will know how important is them to you. Care them always. Don't let anyone or anything that makes them feel worst. Love them with all your heart because of that they will feel how much you care your family.

It's great that your barangay had a program that would take care of the nutrition of pregnant women and children! π The free vegetable and rice from the community pantry is great help given that the prices of necessities are expensive nowadays.

That's great to know that there's initiative like that out there and your kids can get access to it. Would be cool if more countries adopt this type of initiatives too.
