Fiesta is a festive day for all of us. This is also the time that we open our gate to everyone to eat and celebrate it with them. It is surely a fun and exciting event for us because there are really a lot of things to look forward to.
And for preparation for the main event, which is tomorrow, January 19, We went to the market to gather the ingredients that we needed. This is just like on Christmas and New Year, where we prepare a few dishes to eat with our visitors.
In the past, we really prepared a lot of food for that very day, but then a lot of things happened, and we only prepared enough now. Of course, we accept our visitors with a happy heart, even now. Usually, our visitors are those tricycle drivers who often buy from our store. There are also some people who still visit until now, just like last year.
It will surely be a busy day again for us tomorrow. Especially me, who does the dishes after (≧▽≦). But I'm used to that already, so I won't complain.
We started our walk to the market at 9:30. a.m.It's a bit late, but it's okay. Surely people will just start flocking to the market yesterday, which is the main event. As for us, we are the early birds, and we have a fridge where we can put that meat to cook tomorrow, so buying it earlier is the best thing to do.
We already have the list of what we need, so everything from here on went smoothly. But because there's a lot of sellers here that sell at the same time, we just opt to walk even further to check other people's items, especially when it comes to price and, of course, quality. A dish with good-quality products tastes the best, you agree?
We just get meat, chicken, and pork chicken, then liver. We also get some veggies for those dishes we have to prepare, as well as bell peppers. Bell peppers smell good when put into a dish. And we love to eat it just half-cook where there's a crunch in it.
After that, we just got home and prepared some of it. Mommy D half cooked them without putting any ingredients yet, sh, ecept salt. She put some on it. She planned to cook them all, maybe tonight or tomorrow morning. As for the cooking, well, I didn't assist her anymore because she wanted to do the cooking. She can do that now. And I only do the peeling and cutting, so that's my only "ambag" or contribution in here, lol.
Anyways, moving on, there's a newly opened Burger House next door. If you remember, I shared this before here, with the newly opened milk tea shop with the same location. But unfortunately, they already closed down and moved out, although their milk tea is really loved by a lot of people, specifically students. I only heard this, I didn't mean to hear their gossip, but my ears can hear them, so I can't really avoid it, right? Lol. So, the reason for what they say is because of electricity and the water problem. And because of that, they moved out.
And there is this newly opened one again, which sells different snacks, from burgers to egg sandwiches, hungarian burger, fries, drinks, and more. There's a lot of choices, actually. We got lucky last night because we received four tickets from them to gain access to their one-time promo for the first 50 people to buy their buy one, take one burger. From the original price of 35 PHP to 10 PHP, or $0.18.
So this is the setup, you can see the whole menu here. And there's a lot of people waiting in here, but luckily, Mama got our orders first, lol.
And tadaaaan! Look at the oldies, so happy with their burger! Even I am excited to eat it. It's the right timing because I was already hungry at that time. So after taking photos, I immediately devoured mine. I bought apple juice to pair with my burger.
Then this afternoon, we also decided to try their fries and drinks. Mom got fries and cheese sticks with drinks, while I only got fries with drinks. I like the drink because it has a cucumber flavor. It's really refreshing, but deep inside me, I'm already afraid that I might experience a sore throat later because I had a cold drink too before this, lol. But well, I will just drink medicine to get better. At least I enjoy these snacks (≧▽≦).
