Last December 21, 2024, was my 2nd birthday in Hive, my Anniversary of joining Hive. I was glad that I've reached this far. A lot of realizations that Hive made in my life. Sometimes I doubt if I could make it another year because of the hectic schedules and time constraints where I could not write anything but as much as I wanted to, if I do have vacant time, I would push myself more to make it a habit to write and read some other blogs. And eventually, I made it this far
My Takeaways
⏰Be consistent and make it a habit
Writing is not my passion but I am learning every day from my experiences and other sources. When I started writing, I was conscious of the words and grammar that I was using. Even if it's not perfect, still I continue to write and I make it a habit to write when I have vacant time.
💻Reading from other blogs
Becoming a Hive member is not as easy as one two three. You also have to read other blogs which will help you grow - do's and don'ts. Reading their blogs will help you a lot. You will know their experiences about life and you can make your own out from reading it. When I started my journey, I tried to visit different communities and read their blogs. Before posting I always read what should be posted in this community so that I will not be muted.
👭Gaining more friends
If you are consistent, in the long run, you will be familiar with other bloggers too. If you often read their blogs and enjoy commenting on each other's blogs they will become your Hive friends and they too will help you grow. Commenting on other blogs even if you are not friends is one way to gain more friends. Let's go out of our comfort and in that way, you will know that the world is wide and you have a lot more to go.
📨Earning while learning
One meaningful impact of Hive on my life is that I earn while learning. By learning how Hive works, I also earn additional income which is beneficial to my daily needs.
I also bought things that could help my skills grow even more like buying a microwave oven because baking is one of my passion. And because of the different blogs I've seen about the recipes all over the world, sometimes I made my version of the food recipes I've read.
That's how Hive helped me a lot, my greatest turning point. And I know I will learn a lot more as time goes by. Let's enjoy the benefits of this platform.
