Some people might say it’s tiring to be a student, a mom and then work, it is actually! You go home take care of my daughter, no time to sleep so I have to eat then get ready for work, and then study for my subjects at school. I can say it is pretty tough to manage time when you have multiple roles in your life, as a young mom it is a bit hard since there is a lot going on in my life. You might seem to think that yes it is very difficult and I agree, but if you know how to manage your time and your temper, you can easily get through the things that you thought is very difficult. I will share with you what I do in my everyday life!
Every morning classes at school that is where I can’t manage my time actually, I am not the most panctual in our class infact I haven’t remember when I was never late. I woke up 5 in the morning when my class starts at 7 and 7 when my class starts at 9 in the morning, you might be wondering why am I always late? I take care of my daughter first over anything else except for the bath since my grandmother likes to these things, but before I go I always feed her and keep her entertained since she’ll cry if she knew that I will be going to school. After I took care of her, that’s where I start taking a bath, putting on my clothes, and do my daily makeup when I go to school, I don’t eat breakfast usually before going to school because it consumes more time for me. I often eat at our cafeteria and go to class.
When I arrive at home, there it starts my routine as a mom. Playing with my kid, let her have her dinner, and wash het since she plays all day when I am not with her. After I tool care of her, I sat down on my working space since I am a work from home mom and start to study what I should teach to my students as an ESL teacher. I often start at 6:30 and end up in 8:30 or 9, it’s stressful because not all students are very obedient when it comes to online teaching. It always tests my patience as a teacher because I only teach virtual and can’t scold them because I was being recorded my whole class but that’s fine because I can tell my complaints to my boss, It’s fun and tiring at the same time but I’ve got to earn since I support my daughter and my school funds.
After my work, I often play online games for a while to escape my stress for a while and have a little bit of fun for myself. I don’t have any skin care and I often sleep with my makeup on and I know that is very unhygienic of me, sorry. After I have a mini time for myself, I go study some of our lessons for my class and often take notes so that I can remember the things that I always read. I often meditate by listening some music to relax my brain while I’m studying, it makes me feel at ease especially when the songs relate to my current situation at the moment, listening to music is my gate away for all the bad energies in life.
Some of my days are bad, some of them are good but what I am thankful the most is that I still have a plate on my table and I will always be grateful to my family.
You are a brave mom while you are a student and at the same time, you are working as an ESL teacher. It's really great to do such things together with your daughter while working at home and studying in the morning. You have also an adorable daughter.
