A lot of women and children have been a victim of violence, a big population of women and children were a victim of domestic violence and still suffer nowadays. This problem maybe solved but hard to say that it doesn’t exist anymore, Violence against women and children is one of the advocacy to be the voice of the voiceless, and to let them know that we care and see them.our school’s advocacy is such a very bright and amazing project for the students to be aware and to have knowledge about the domestic violence that most of the women and children undergo and suffer.
Our school held an advocacy called Violence Against Women and Children (VAW-C), it’s a 1 week celebration for the women and children who are a victim to domestic violence. Their advocacy makes me feel at ease because I was also a victim of domestic violence back then, seeing these flyers and notes on the board is a very nice idea for the students to voice out their thoughts to the people who will read and encourage other to fight for their rights and always be brave no matter what. This advocacy is very helpful and let people encourage to stand up to the people who can’t stood up to their selves. It’s an advocacy that help them be more enlightened about the causes of domestic violences and how we can prevent it.
They provided candy, sticky notes to write on to, and flyers to the students who want to know more about VAW-C. It’s for them to voice out that it has to stop since the quote is “Bigyang Wakas, Ngayon na ang Oras”, it’s for the students to be more couraged about the situation and voice it out without any feeling of scared and thought of maybe they will be a burden to people they can tell too. It’s a great way to feel the victims at ease and safety because they know that they have someone who can stood up to them if ever they don’t have the power to do so. Seeing this kind of advocacy gives us strength and believe that humanity is still there, we can say that not all of the people can help you but some can be called when you’re in need.
The flyers and the notes on the boards screams humanity empowerment and a voice to the women and children who doesn’t have a strength to seek for help because of the sake that they will still be a danger that is following them, it’s a big step for the people who are a victim seeing these kinds of advocacies and it will gain them more courage and strength to stand up for theirselves and fight legally to the people who wronged them. It’s big stepping stone for them to be confident and let them know that there is somebody to help them, there is somebody who can actually oice out for them because they don’t have the courage to do so and the strength to stand up for themselves. Violence against women and children is the biggest problem that we faced nowadays and it’s time to make a change.
I'm a firm believer that no woman should experience any kind of violence. I can also relate because back then, my mother was also a victim😔
Sorry to hear that, I am also a victim and glad that I recovered. I wish you and your mom a better and a great life.❤️

The message "Bigyang Wakas, Ngayon na ang Oras" encouraged me to believe that it’s never too late to stand up and fight for what’s right. This initiative brought so much strength and hope, reminding us that there’s always someone willing to help. It’s a powerful step toward making real change.
Indeed it is, the theme itself says it all! ❤️
