So, guess what? It's our sembreak, and I finally have some time to chillax and do my favorite hobbies, like playing games, watching stuff, and going on rides. And... oh, by the way, I can drive now! Yey! 😁 Hahaha. But my license is restricted to 2-wheels only. So, I’m only allowed to drive a motorcycle hehe. But I'll save the story of my driving school journey for another post. 😉🏍️
Anyway, just like Sheree mentioned in our last blog, life has been crazy busy since December. Especially since I'm a graduating student this year, I have to focus more on my studies, and our Capstone project. So, after my blog post about Maya's crypto feature, I couldn't find the time to post again because academics took over. 🥹😩
So, yesterday was the day that our university dropped our grades. Of course, that brought in some worries and consciousness about how the grades turned out. I wouldn't say I'm grade-conscious, but I just don't want to see "failed" or "incomplete" in the remarks about my grades. I'd even be grateful for a fair grade because I know what I deserve. And if I happen to get a higher grade than expected, I'd be really thankful for it. 😅
To cut the story short, I couldn't check my grades right away yesterday because I apparently used up my 3 attempts to access them, and I had to go to our school's Center for Information Technology. 😩 Seriously! This kind of thing is such a hassle, especially for other students who don't have the time to go to school during the semester break.
So, this morning, as soon as I woke up, I checked our school's group pages. I saw that some students found a way to check their grades without going to school. They said to spam-click on the button, so that's exactly what I did. After a few more attempts, I finally saw my grades.
Since last night, I was already on the verge of the acceptance stage where I might have "incomplete" remarks on my grades, considering I'm always late with submissions and missed a few for some subjects, hehe. But guess what, guys?
I PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS! 🎊 OMG! 😲😱
I did not expect to get grades with adjectival equivalents like Superior and Very Good. Honestly, after seeing my grades, the first person I showed it to was Sheree. I was almost teary-eyed 🥹 because last night, I was almost telling her, "It is what it is" and "Whatever the result, I'll comply ASAP," hahaha. 😅
Of course, all thanks to the Lord for blessing me with a passing grade! 🙏 And, a big thank you to my dearest Sheree 🥰 because she's my partner in crime for doing our papers in Capstone and Technopreneurship project.
So, after we got our anti-rabies shots earlier, we decided to check out a newly discovered coffee shop. Almost all the usual coffee spots near their house were closed. So, she suggested that we try finding new ones in a different barangay, hehe.
A newly found coffee shop: The Cozy Coffles
We were so excited to check out the place that we didn't even bother to see if their coffee was budget-friendly, hahaha. When we got there, I immediately told her to take some pictures.
So far, I guess it's an indeed budget-friendly coffee shop. The lowest price for their beverages is PHP 120.00, then for the food the lowest price is PHP 90.00.
While we were thinking about what to order, Sheree suggested that we should get different flavors to try two at once. So, I ordered an iced Salted Caramel Latte, and Sheree went for an iced Caramel Macchiato. Then, I only ordered one food because I bought a honey-glazed donut and a Choco butternut donut from Dunkin.
The food we ordered was cute, and the names were witty, hahaha. At first, I was puzzled about what "croffles" were. She said it's probably waffles with a different name, maybe inspired by the shop's name, Cozy Coffles. When the Almond Nutella Croffles were served, I was surprised because the waffle had the shape of a croissant. Then we realized that "croffles" was a combo of "CROissant" and "waFFLES," hahaha. Witty, right? Such a cute name, hahaha.
Aside from coffee, pastries, finger foods frappes, and tea, they are also selling tote bags, keychains, and coffee drips.
So, while enjoying our little celebration of my unexpected triumph, we talked about our senior high school moments. And we realized that we had so many mutual acquaintances, hahaha. Well, as they say, it's a small world after all. We always do experience such coincidence scenarios. 😁
Anyway, I'm just really thankful for this day. 🥰 I can't believe there's just one last semester, and graduation is my next milestone. 🎓 I could already hear that marching song from graduation hahaha.
And as look up at this painting, it seems like it's telling me that I'm too far away already and I've made a lot of so much progress in my life. The sunrise view in this picture is like an opportunity that may arise in my future soon. And whatever it is, I am ready to face it. 💪😊
So, that's all for today Hive peeps! That's all I have to share with you for now, guys. I feel like I'll be busy again with my internship and Capstone project. But, of course, I owe you some life updates especially about my driving school journey, so stay tuned, guys.
Any feedbacks and comments will be appreciated! 😊🫶
