Nature gives revitalization to myself, where I need to empty all my stress, toxins, negativity, and loneliness. It is important to have a break and take time to recharge to renew my well being. After stressful days I have to give relaxation for myself to recharge my energy.
I prepared everything as we embarked in my place for our Christmas Party and at the same time our team building. I am very excited to visit the reserved venue for the event. Join me as I share with you my wonderful experienced staying in Maayo Hotel Resort for a treat to myself and my family. It is located in Victoria, San Remigio, Cebu, in the northern part of Cebu. I let myself feel and enjoy the beauty of nature.
The weather is perfect for our plan, it is a minute away from where I live if we travel in a shortcut road. It is wiser and more economical for our budget to travel in a shortcut road.
Honestly, I am not used visiting hotels since I am an ordinary person. I don't have an extra budget to visit expensive places like Maayo Hotel. Opportunity knocks at the right time for me to experience visiting places like these. That is why my excitement started on the first day of our meeting. We travelled together in going to the place. We let ourselves sleep for one night, so we had an overnight stay for one night only. Check-in time is 3 in the afternoon and check-out at 11 in the morning the following day.
Others may not find expensive in paying all the fees in hotels including meals, rooms, and entrance but for me having a tight budget would be hard in coming a beautiful resort. I can experience once or twice a year only together with my family if it is being save through my piggy bank.😢
The entrance is not attractive to my eyes but when I get inside I am amazed how beautiful it was created. There are many rooms that can accomodate many guests. I got the key for our room at the reception, the attendant explained everything as she turned over the key. Our room is not that big it is only suited for my family. My daughters shouted for happiness as they felt the cold temperature of the room.
As they get inside, they explore the room. It sounded funny as they asked me how to turn on the shower, the aircon, and the lampshade. The kind of life we have in our house is different as we stay here in the hotel.
The rooms are facing to the sea, every guest can smell the freshness of the air that enlightens our inner organs. Trees are everywhere giving shades and coolness of the temperature. The whole afternoon was spent in our activity. We had so much fun giving gifts to our manitas and receiving gifts from our generous school principal, and co teachers. We played games, we sang, and we danced as we continued our celebration. We ate our dinner before the other games continued.
Our team building ended at 9 o'clock in the evening because we rented the function hall for four hours only. The rental fee is five thousand pesos within four hours and we need to use our time within the allocated time to avoid additional fees.
Waking up early in the morning the following day is a blessing. I stroll around the resort to discover the beauty that they offer. Until I found a garden in the dead-end part of the resort. They had a utility that cultivated the soil to produce their own organic vegetables.
What I love the most in the place are the trees, ornamental plants, vegetable garden and the beauty that surrounds. A wide area that allows us to exercise early in the morning. The swimming pool and the sea are waiting for everybody to swim into the water. It invites us to take a dip and feel the coolnes of the water.
Facing to the west side you can see the tall trees. It is an overlooking place where we can view the sea on the right side of the resort I assume it is not a part of the resort anymore because of the fence. I think fisherman is putting their boat in this area.
The rock formation shows a small cave under it. I had seen small crabs crawling in the sand and going to the small cave. This maybe their home for their whole life.
The resort is abundant of fresh air that blows into my skin. Everytime the cold air blows it makes me drowse that I want to sleep. The tranquility of the place and freshness of air totally give me a relaxing day. It was a good day spent with my family and friends.
