RE: Important Update: How The Post-Odette Donation Drives Are Doing

in Hive PH3 years ago

Thanks for this update. Thanks for looking around for what you can do and sharing your experiences with us here on Hive. I would like to help. What is the best way?

Hi friend! Depending on what you can give and where you are. If you have funds, you can donate to the donation channels I featured on this post for YouthLead PH:

Some of those channels only work if you're in the Philippines or know someone here who can donate for you. If you're based outside PH, a friend of mine shared a GoFundMe page for the Typhoon victims of Bohol.

If you want to donate spare blankets, clothes, or lighting appliances, it's best to locally crowdsource and ask around for nearby drop-off sites to be shipped directly to the PH. You may refer to this partial list for more info.

Thanks Roxanne. I am in the US so your GoFundMe page was a great link. @aiparker here is info about donations for the typhoon in the Philippines.
