Another day, another blog!
Konnichiwa hivers! This is me again, Swtzyserrah, and I’m back again with another blog of mine. Anyway, I hope you are all feeling great right now. Without further introduction, let’s start!
I just want to ask you something: does your area have a huge road? That even a truck can enter? Really? Lucky you, because in our place, although there is a road that only motorcycles can enter, yeah, it is very small.
By the grace of the Lord, finally there is someone whom he sent to help us with our concerns—our beloved mayor, who donated for the barangay road project. As we received the news, we were so happy because, finally, there is someone who understands our situation. That's the reason we are so thankful to our mayor.
The fund for the barangay road is already fixed, and the only problem left was the lot. Of course, we need to ask some permission from the owners of the lot to see if they will agree if we ask for some part of their lot for the barangay road—a donation, to be exact.
Together with my neighbor,. Our purok president asked us if it was ok with us if we would be the ones to go to the owner's house for him or her to sign the deed of donation. That time, my brother told me that they had a meeting in the afternoon at their school. So I managed my time and did my household chores as early as possible because I would go with my neighbor and, ofofcourse attend the homeroom meeting. So I asked my neighbor if it’s okay that we go to the lot owners early, and she agreed.
It was 8 in the morning when we started our singing journey. We walked from our house to the highway for 15 minutes. After a few minutes of walking, we finally arrived at the skin and waited for the bus.
The bus takes so long, that’s why my neighbor sits on the ground. Actually, there was a sari-sari store there, and a set was provided by the store owner, but it's kind kinda huge and can fit 5 people. It was made of bamboo and has a sofa-chair form.
After a few minutes of waiting, there was finally a bus, and we rode onto it. I thought we could ride on it because both of us (my neighbor and me) didn't pay attention to the coming bus, and it ran fast. That's the reason why I was a bit shocked when it passed us. Luckily, it stopped, according to my neighbor; probably the driver saw her “paraa” sign on the mirror. It’s a distance from us, but we still managed to run as fast as we could and ride on the bus. That was really a blast.
While we were on the bus, I was enjoying every place that we passed through. The green grasses plus the tall, huge tree. I really love everything that is related to nature; it makes me feel relaxed.
Fast-forward: We arrived at the first person that would need to sign; their house was near the highway, so we just walked. While walking, I was really amazed by every house that we passed through. I can really tell that the residents of this place are very clean because they maintain a clean environment.
We have now arrived at the house of Ma'am Rosario. She’s the first one to sign the deed of donation. I was shocked because she and my neighbor are close. She told us to eat, and because my neighbor didn't eat breakfast, she then sat on their table and ate while I chose to sit on the chair.
While my neighbor and ma’am Rosario were busy taking, I diverted my attention to browsing my social media but was suddenly distracted by this pretty girl. She was watching some videos on YouTube, and then she poked me. As she talked, I found out that she has a special need, and then her Lola told me that his granddaughter was no playmate; only she and her mother, due to her father, would also go to work. Upon hearing all of it, I felt a pang in my heart. Without any ado, I played with her. I gave her my pen, and she managed to create some strokes, and I happily watched her.
After writing, she then gave me back my pen, and then she again watched some videos on YouTube. She then signs me to watch, and I then go next to her. I noticed that she was sweating, so I tied her hair, and then we watched some videos on YouTube.
After Ma'am Rosario signs the paper, we bid goodbye and, of course, say our warmest thank you. I also say goodbye to my friend. Yes, dear. I include her among my friends. She then waves her hands, and so do I.
We then ride on the bus to go home since the next person is not available. We didn't have a choice, so we went home. As I checked the time, it was already 12:01 pm. I was really confused about whether I would go to our house to eat first, but our house was a bit far, so it will take more than an hour if I go home, or if I would just drop off at the school of my brother since it was near the road, after a minute of deciding. I come up with the idea that I will just drop off at my brother's school and buy some biscuits at the store.
On the meeting, their adviser told us the meeting agenda, with all eyes and ears on her from the beginning till the end because the meeting talks about how the school year will be. Their adviser also informed us of their schedules and other changes, and they also informed us of the grading system of the school.
The meeting was done, and it was time for us to go home. We then bid goodbye, and I chose to walk because I really missed the way. We used to walk from our house to school way back in elementary and high school days, so I really missed the way. Actually, I’m not alone on the way because I’m with some neighbors who also attend the meeting.
That’s how my day goes; how about you? How did your day go? Anyway, I just want to thank you for finishing reading my blog. @swtzyserrah again, your proud provincial girl.
