It feels like just yesterday I was a freshman, and now this is my last year to be part of this event. I'm going to miss this. As usual, we have a strict policy regarding attendance. They're cracking down on being on time, and it costs almost 300 pesos for each day (morning and afternoon) if you're late! Thankfully, I live nearby, so I've decided to just stay on campus all day. It's my last year, so I want to make the most of it!
I wish I had gotten some photos of the athletes in action, but I got so caught up in watching the games and hanging out with my classmates. I'm a big believer in living in the moment, though. So, taking pictures can be a kind of a distraction sometimes, and I wanted to soak it all in. The men's volleyball was on the left side of the court, and the women's was on the right.
The weather's been pretty windy, which keeps things cool for the athletes even though the sun can still sting if you stay out too long. It's definitely a lot better than last year, when it was scorching hot. I'm sure everyone's happy for the break from the heat.
Oh, again. I wish I had gotten pictures of all the other booths. The two photos I took are from the volleyball booths. They have a net set up in the corner, but it doesn't look like there's much room to play. Speaking of things people love, are you into anime? I'm not sure who those characters in the photos are, but they definitely make great volleyball player models!
The cultural dance presentation was definitely a highlight for me. I loved seeing them showcase different cultures and celebrations through their dancing. I wish I had some clear photos to share, but unfortunately, they all came out blurry. I'll just post one picture. There were also some amazing students performing eskrima in front of the stage. It was the newly opened, first time performing during Intramurals. It's awesome that they're helping students learn about Filipino martial arts.
We just had a few photos from that day. I'm still on the fence about becoming a full-fledged photograph collector, but I definitely love treasuring these memories. It's true what they say – life is made up of those little precious moments. And also I'd like to share, we tried out a bunch of different milk teas, and one of them really bombed with my classmates. Haha, their reaction was pretty epic – let's just say I'm not going to relive that one! That's all for today, and I hope you enjoyed reading my blog!
Looks like a good relaxing time. It's something being part of something like this for the first time but attending it for the last time make you realize how fast things pass by. Oh btw, you saved me a brownie, right? 😆
Quite true! I'm glad I savored it before it'll end quick. No, I didn't even buy one haha.
Well we both got to see them. Probably better that I don't have one 😅
I remember this way back college days. I joined usually in track and field; marathons to be exact.
Aside from that, this is also one way of building relationships. Friends and you know there are some who got develop later ,😆
Good for you, may nasalihan kang sports hehe ako taga-tingin lang hahahaha. Unfortunately wala akong naranasang ganyan ah from friends to something hahah.
