The memories you spend together with the person whom you value the most will never be forgotten and always be remembered. The thing is you can't have them back to talk to and spend another day with, but just look back at all the memories by replaying them in your mind. It's really hard losing someone unexpectedly without knowing that you can't see them again.
It's been a year since my grandma separated away from us in this world but it's like yesterday, the pain is still fresh in my heart. When she passed away, months after everything that happened it didn't sink into my mind. What's in my mind is just she's not around because she is in the Carbon since she sells vegetables, fruits, and everything that she can sell. What a businesswoman women right? miss her so muchhh🥺
My grandmother died 3 weeks after she celebrated her 60th birthday. And she ensured that her birthday would be very memorable for us and for her. Days before her birthday she personally invited all her relatives even though some of them live a little far away from her hometown just to meet and ensure that they would attend.

At exactly midnight of her birthday, me and my cousins lighted a candle and sang a Happy Birthday song at her front where she was laying because she was asleep. We just invaded her sleep to surprise her with a biko ( rice cake in English) as a cake hahaha since we weren't able to buy a cake in the morning.
During her birthday celebration, I can tell that she enjoyed her last birthday. She painted a big smile on her face seeing her relatives came, blowing her cakes, and picking up the money cake and the surprises prepared by us. Everyone's effort was given that day just to make sure our Lola would enjoy her special day.

Even in the days that she was still existing in this world, we made sure that our Lola was living her best. We explore and bring her with us to make her happy. Spend time with my cousins and aunties.

Celebrated every occasion full of effort because that's what Lola wants. She wants to celebrate it happily and entertain visitors with a very pleasant personality. She wanted to give back to people all the blessings that she received. And that's us making her smile with our ugly faces hahaha. That was during my brother's birthday last October 2020.
And after the occasion, we will always go to the beach to continue the happiness (it was an after-party). Everyone is having fun swimming with the big waves and eating at the seashore. That picture was after my grandmother's birthday all the food we brought was leftover. We reserved that cake for us to eat at the beach because she had many cakes on her birthday. We had fun eating that cake the taste of the sea mixed with the cake hahaha.
Remembering all the memories we spent together with my Lola makes me missed her so much. She always bring us foods whenever she went to our house, brought us to the City, and gave us money secretly. There's one time that me and my ate fought then gave the two us money and advice to make us okay. Ah I want to have a time machine right now:(((
It was so hard for us to accept because she left in this world when COVID-19 hit. And we don't have time to spend a day with her in her coffin. Only few of her relatives attend the funeral even her closest friend didn't show up because everyone was scared of the virus that time.
All the things that she has done for us will always be treasured and will never be forgotten. She has been a part of my life since the day I came into this world.
