Greetings from a sunny Thursday morning! I hope you are enjoying your day. I'd like to keep talking about Hive-related things these days, so I've chosen a suitable topic, so let's do a quick recap first.
Last Week's Recap
Last week's topic was buying votes. I asked people what they thought about it and generally everyone said they were against vote-buying. I'm glad to see so many people finding common ground on this issue. Personally, I don't think vote buying is Hive's biggest problem, but if we don't solve some problems when they are small, it can be much harder to stand up to them when they grow. Today people might be buying a few dollars worth of votes on Hive, but tomorrow they might start buying $50 worth of votes. Then we become like those other platforms that we don't want to become, where only the posts that are voted for with purchased votes are in the trending section. What will we talk about this week?
This week's topic is your favorite authors on Hive. I know most people who attend the show read posts regularly, some even curate them. That's why we discover new writers. Of course, there may be authors you've been following for a while, but if there are good authors you've recently discovered, especially on Hive, I'd like you to share them with us so that I and maybe other curators can vote on their posts. This will contribute to their development and you will have contributed to someone else's development as a result. There are few things more valuable in Hive. Dozens of people have contributed to make me what I am today and I am grateful to all of them. Apart from that, if you join the show I will teach you a few Turkish words (please remind me of this) and we can talk about whatever you want. You just need to participate.
Which Language Will the Show Be In? Where Will the Show Be? When Will the Show Start?
Our show will be in Turkish, but we welcome users from all countries. We had a lot of foreign participants in the past weeks and they made the show more fun. Thanks to them we learn new things and get different perspectives. So don't hesitate about the language. The show will start at 9pm Turkey time and 6pm UTC. Geçen haftanın konusu oy satın almaktı. İnsanlara bu konu hakkında ne düşündüğünü sordum ve genelde herkes oy satın almaya karşı olduğunu söyledi. Bu konuda pek çok insanın ortak bir paydada buluşmasına buluşmasına çok sevindim. Benim şahsi düşünceme gelecek olursak bence de oy satın almak Hive'ın en büyük problemi değil ancak bazı problemleri küçükken çözmezsek büyüdüğünde karşısında durmak çok daha zor olabilir. Bugün insanlar Hive'da birkaç dolar değerinde oy satın alıyor olabilirler ama yarın 50 dolarlık oy satın almaya başlayabilirler. Sonrasında dönüşmek istemediğimiz o diğer platformlar gibi sadece satın alınan oylarla oylanan gönderilerin trendler kısmında olduğu yerlere dönüşürüz. Kimse bunun olmayacağını garanti edemez. Bu Hafta Ne Konuşacağız?
Bu haftanın konusu ise Hive'daki favori yazarlarınız. Şova katılan çoğu kişinin düzenli olarak gönderi okuduğunu biliyorum, bazıları küratörlük bile yapıyor. Bu yüzden yeni yazarlar keşfediyoruz. Elbette eskiden beri takip ettiğiniz yazarlar da olabilir ama özellikle Hive'da yeni keşfettiğiniz iyi yazarlar varsa onları bizimle paylaşmanızı istiyorum. Bu sayede ben ve belki diğer küratörler gönderilerini oylayabilir. Bu onların gelişimine katkı sağlayacaktır ve siz de sonuçta birilerinin gelişimine katkı sağlamış olacaksınız. Hive'da bundan daha değerli çok az şey vardır. Benim bu günlere gelmemde onlarca insanın katkısı var ve hepsine minnettarım. Bunun dışında şova katılırsanız size birkaç Türkçe kelime öğreteceğim(lütfen bunu hatırlatın) ve siz ne isterseniz onun üzerine de konuşabiliriz. Sadece katılmanız yeterli.
Şov Hangi Dilde Olacak? Nerede Olacak? Ne Zaman Başlayacak?
Şovumuz Türkçe olacak ama bütün ülkelerden kullanıcılara açığız. Geçtiğimiz haftalarda bir sürü yabancı katılımcımız oldu ve hepsi şovumuzu daha eğlenceli hale getirdi. Onlar sayesinde yeni şeyler öğreniyoruz ve farklı bakış açıları ediniyoruz. Bu yüzden dil konusunda çekinmeyin. Şov Türkiye saatiyle akşam 9'da UTC saat diliminde de akşam 6'da başlayacak.
