If only i were that simple my guy but I am afraid that too many humans have a propensity towards tribalism in protecting their cultural values which seem to coincide with ethnic or national origins.
Different cultures have a different conception of what is good or bad and therein lies the problem.
You are right, if what you oppose by seeing the color then you are wrong, a person is not identified by color, it is by his skill and way of living.
Unfortunately, there are still groups of people who are tribalistic by nature who seem interested in centralizing power. This is why we need must take heed of demographics. It would be great if all persons were to value the content of a person's character first and foremost but we exist in a world that in group preference exists sadly.
