Parece muy difícil arrebatarle el título al Liverpool en ésta ocasión. Pero la lucha por el tercer y cuarto puesto seguirá poniéndose interesante a medida que lleguen los enfrentamientos directos entre ellos. Hablemos de esto y otros aspectos más en ésta previa. Por favor, acompáñame.
MANCHESTER UNITED vs. ARSENAL
MANCHESTER UNITED en la última fecha apenas pudo arañar su única victoria delmes de febrero, empatando un partido y perdiendo los otros dos. El resultado final fue 3-2 frente al Ipswich. A pesar de todo lo que ha hecho Amorim por éste equipo, parece que la cara no será muy diferente a la que ha tenido en las últimas campañas. Súmele a ésto la serie de lesionados que mantiene actualmente y que no contará en éste encuentro: Lisandro Martínez, Evans, Shaw, Amad, Mainoo y Mount. Actualmente se ubica en la posición 14 de la tabla de posiciones, muy lejos de poder aspirar competir en Europa la temporada que viene. Parece que la meta en ésta ocasión será mantenerse a salvo, lejos de la zona de descenso y tratar de ir recuperando la solidez en casa. Por cierto, la necesita muchísimo, puesto que ha perdido más de lo que ha ganado: seis victorias, un empate y siete derrotas.
ARSENAL no pudo pasar del empate a 0 goles frente al Nottingham Forest y vio como la distancia con el Liverpool se amplió a unos 13 puntos. Con éste resultado, ya son dos partidos sin ganar que acumulan los gunners. Con todo, parecen muy cómodos en ese segundo lugar de la tabla ya que mantienen una distancia módica con relación a sus perseguidores. El Liverpool es uno de los equipos que apunta a ganar la Champions y con 13 puntos de diferencia y la manera en que están jugando me parece poco probable que pierdan la Premier.
Pero, como bien dices los puestos 3 y 4 están bien disputados con un Manchester City que está a punto de bajar del top 4.

Liverpool is one of the teams aiming to win the Champions League and with 13 points difference and the way they are playing it seems unlikely to me that they will lose the Premiership.
But, as you rightly say places 3 and 4 are well contested with Manchester City on the verge of dropping out of the top 4.
