Un episodio correspondiente al turno del martes, y que por la ausencia crónica de electricidad, no me quedó más remedio que esperar a las pocas horas que me regalan en el día para descargar el programa en la wifi del parque.
El programa en cuestión se llama Bola Viva y entre sus debilidades destaca la poca duración del mismo, con apenas 27 minutos semanales para tocar temas y polemizar sobre el deporte más amado por los cubanos. Durante el episodio en cuestión, los panelistas llegaron a la conclusión de que el esfuerzo destinado para mejorar nuestro béisbol, no se debe desperdiciar en buscar culpables, sino en encontrar soluciones.

Está claro que buscar soluciones es una de las tareas claves para obtener mejores resultados, pero en la práctica, nada se resuelve de la nada sin la presencia de uno o varios líderes que le aporten una dirección realmente efectiva y eficaz, que no es lo mismo, si de metodología de la investigación se trata
Fíjense, queridos lectores, que escribí líderes y no jefes, pues de lo segundo está llena la dirección de la pelota y el deporte cubano en general, con excepción de alguien seguramente, pero que a ciencia cierta no conozco de nadie. Si vamos a buscar soluciones de verdad, busquemos a gente que viva para el deporte. Claro que el incentivo económico es importante, pues del arte solamente no se vive. Eso sí, los elegidos deben estar a la disposición de cuestionamientos a su trabajo en todo momento, sin huirle a ello, y rendir cuenta cada determinado tiempo sobre su gestión con datos y números reales y de significación.
I could not agree with them more, but I would like to make a reservation on the first point. It is clear that seeking solutions is one of the key tasks to obtain better results, but in practice, nothing is solved out of nothing without the presence of one or more leaders who provide a truly effective and efficient direction, which is not the same thing, if we are talking about research methodology.
Notice, dear readers, that I wrote leaders and not bosses, because the latter is full of the management of baseball and Cuban sport in general, with the exception of someone surely, but I do not know anyone for sure. If we are going to look for real solutions, let's look for people who live for the sport. Of course, the economic incentive is important, because art alone is not enough to make a living. Of course, those elected must be open to questioning their work at all times, without shying away from it, and must give an account every so often of their management with real and significant data and numbers.
De momento, los que están ahora en el tope de la dirección, no merecen seguir allí, pues no han demostrado claridad y transparencia en su gestión y mucho menos han logrado resultados que denoten un avance, aunque sea pequeñito, en el deporte que tanto amamos y que se practica en la isla.
