La tarde de ayer era muy importante para todo el equipo del Arsenal, siendo un juego que puede definir su destino en los próximos meses y lo que estaba en juego en este instante es poder tomar el primer puesto de la Premier League, la cual vienen luchando semanas tras semanas en las respectivas jornadas de juego. Una ventaja única es que estaban jugando en casa, en ese gran estadio que los representa, con todo su público en las tribunas, una energía increíble, pero con ese miedo al saber que tenían que enfrentarse a un gran rival de esta Premier League. Vienen con una racha de victorias y demostrando que ellos pueden ser los mejores y poder levantar la copa.
Un partido donde podía pasar cualquier cosa, pero demostraron que con seguridad y confianza del trabajo técnico, le han dado un gran baile al equipo del Manchester City, una cosa para quedar sin palabras, una cantidad de goles que muy poco se nota y ese trabajo en equipo que predomino en el Arsenal de principio a fin. Esa tarde, cinco jugadores que tenían puesta la camisa roja, brillaron en el terreno de juego, demostrando esa capacidad y el nivel de fútbol que ellos cuentan para así poder llevar a su equipo a la gloria. La victoria para el Arsenal no fue suficiente, sino que también aplastaron al rival en casa y festejaron un triunfo más para todo el equipo.

Cada uno de los jugadores del Arsenal, han tenido un gran desempeño en esta temporada y puede ser una sorpresa para muchos, puesto que es un equipo que cada temporada compra y cambia sus tácticas de juego para así poder salir adelante, además aprovechando las combinaciones de jugadores nuevos con jugadores viejos y crear la plantilla ideal para salir a enfrentar a cada rival que le toque jugar. Mientras que el equipo del Manchester City, también está dejando todo en esta Premier League y podemos ver que está dentro de los primeros puestos de la tabla, por ende su lucha a un no termina, sabiendo que una victoria les iba a favorecer para estas fechas de juego.
A los dos minutos del partido el equipo del Arsenal da inicio lo que sería la lluvia de goles para este juego, siendo un gol muy rápido y aprovechan un poco el desorden del City y una mala salida de la defensa y es allí donde el mínimo error que se cometa puede afectar, recibiendo un pase al área el jugador Martin para así empujarla al arco y poner el marcador 1-0, muy temprano ese gol y aún quedaba mucho tiempo por jugarse. Los intentos por parte de ambos equipos continuaron, pero todos terminaban desviados y así sucesivamente fue transcurriendo el primer tiempo, cerrando con una pequeña ventaja para el Arsenal y un desespero para el City.
El espectáculo de este partido se vivió fue en el segundo tiempo y con mucha seguridad este fue la parte más emocionante para todos los espectadores, ya que se aproximaban una gran cantidad de goles en el partido. Para el minuto 55, la estrella del equipo del City, como lo es Haaland logra hacer un gol para conseguir en el empate, siendo un gol con mucho estilo y supo aprovechar su altura para así empujar el balón con la cabeza a un lado de la portería, por ende el marcador ya estaba 1-1. El arsenal no se quedó quieto y volvieron a interceptar una salida de la defensa y el jugador Yakubu, dispara desde fuera del área con mucha potencia y pone el marcador 2-1, dándole la vuelta al partido y poner una vez más a todos a festejar en ese estadio.

A partir de ese momento, el equipo del City, no tuvo más oportunidades de goles, sino recibir gol tras gol. El Arsenal apretó y no dejó respirar a su rival, puesto que cada una de las jugadas salían a la perfección y aprovechando la oportunidad de seguir sumando goles. Minuto 62, tercer gol del Arsenal, logrando sacar una ventaja y se podía notar que era una victoria segura para dicho equipo, a pesar de que se han visto partidos donde el City remonta y gana, por su gran capacidad, pero en este juego no le estaba saliendo nada bien. El cuarto gol para el Arsenal y la alegría de los jugadores era muy grande, ya que estaba derrotando a un rival muy fuerte de la competencia, solamente esperando que el tiempo terminara.
El tiempo extra el equipo del Arsenal lo supo aprovechar para terminar de aplastar al rival con su quinto gol para el partido, donde estaban haciendo historia por tener un marcador 5-1, algo impresionante para ese equipo y no cerraban con una victoria de esa manera desde hace mucho tiempo. City destrozado y sin mucho que hacer, donde le queda seguir preparándose para seguir en la jugada, mientras que el Arsenal, suma tres puntos y está muy cerca de tomar el primer puesto de la Premier League.
