Iniciando el año, muchos son los propósitos que tenemos, pero uno de los principales es la vida sana. El exceso de diciembre y esa promesa de "en enero comienzo la dieta", nos lleva a buscar actividades que nos puedan ayudar a alcanzar esas metas 💯.
En el INCES, tenemos un equipo de Sóftbol ¡¿QUÉÉÉÉ?! Pues, como muchas cosas que no sabía, pero ahora sí, me invitaron a un encuentro organizando entre nuestro team y otro equipo de la zona. Así que con esa promesa de iniciar alguna actividad, me animé a participar para encontrar algo que me entusiasme.
Yo no había visto un juego de sóftbol, más allá de saber que su bola es más grande que el beisbol (uno de mis deportes favoritos), no sabía de su dinámica.
El encuentro se realizó en una comunidad llamada PACHAQUITO que se encuentra a una hora de mi ciudad Barcelona. La idea era que nos trasladábamos allá y con el equipo local, tenían el encuentro amistoso.

Al llegar, me dio entusiasmo de ver cómo se fueron reuniendo, llegando al encuentro, saludando con mucha camaradería, como si nos conociéramos de años, la atención y hospitalidad, nos hicieron sentir como si estuviésemos en casa.
Yo fui invitada por el Prof. Villegas, que era el representante y estaba de cumpleaños; por tal motivo, aparte del juego, teníamos planificado hacer una comida y celebrar el cumplevida.

Lo único que lamenté, es el estado deplorable y paupérrimo en el que se encuentra el campo, ya que es un terreno baldío, sin condiciones para hacer un buen juego; sin embargo, creo que ya están acostumbrados a eso y, ya que la misión es jugar, eso no fue problema. Es triste, que espacios deportivos estén en esas condiciones:

Del juego puedo decirles que estuvo bien parejo. No entendí que había 9 personas en el campo más el receptor (cacher), pero asumo que cómo era un amistoso, todos estaban invitados a participar.
Fueron 7 innings, donde los primeros 3 fueron retirados por la vía del 1,2,3. En este punto creo que estaban calentando y reconociendo el juego del otro.
Luego, fueron bateando lejos, el viento jugó de muy buena forma porque llevaba la bola que hacía correr a los que estaban en los jardines; me encantó que a pesar de ser personas adultas, corrían, bateaban y hacían jugadas que ponían en riesgo su salud y huesos 😆. Además, ya acercándose la hora del medio día, el sol era inclemente y eso no los detuvo en darlo todo en el campo.
Hubo 2 jonrones, algunos extrabases porque la pelota se escondía en el monte, algunos outs celebrados, ningún dobleplay, algunos ponchados, dos bases por bolas. El resultado final fue 4 a 1 a favor de nuestro equipo 🎉 ⚾️ 🥇. Cómo no conozco el nombre de los jugadores, no les puedo decir quienes fueron los más valiosos, pero todos celebraron igual.

Y bueno, allí me di cuenta de que muchas son las actividades que se pueden hacer en este tipo de eventos y no solo jugar. Ver que los señores llegaban con sus señoras, hijos, familias, me gustó porque fomenta la unión familiar, el apoyo, admiración y solidaridad que existe dentro y fuera del campo.
Tanto fue la compenetración sin conocerlas (a las chicas) que al llegar propuse "bueno, vamos a hacer las gestiones para la sopa y esté lista al terminar el juego". Les cuento que todos fueron muy atentos, nos pusieron a disposición las herramientas y las chicas nos encargamos de picar, limpiar, separar y hacer la sopa. Todo quedó genial.
Al final, TODOS COMIERON en dos ollas de sopa y créanme que quedaron muy satisfechos. Después, cantamos cumpleaños y repartimos el pastel, que también disfrutaron, tumbando el mito de que "alcoholizado no come dulce" 🤣.

Un extra fue que para divertirme un poco, tomé el bate y en compañía de una compañera que hacía la labor de picheo, hice un swing y bateé una que otra pelota; quién quita, si en estos días, formo mi equipo y nos vamos a enfrentar al mundo 😎. Para mí, es primera vez que hice algo así y la verdad me gustó, aunque tengo que aprender la técnica y la fuerza, pero todo eso se arregla en el camino 😊.

Hola amiga, que buena manera de arrancar el año con este gran juego, además es una gran manera de hacer actividad física y compartir un gran rato con todo los miembros del equipo. Sin duda momento como ese son únicos y ahora a seguir practicando para que seas la mejor del equipo jajaj.
