El día de hoy se disputó la final de la Supercopa de Europa. Chelsea F.C campeón de la Champions League midió fuerza ante el campeón de la Europa League el Villareal C.F. En el estadio National Football Stadium at Windsor Park, situado en Belfast Reino Unido.
Los de Tuchel llegaban como favoritos, peros los de Unai Emery con un gran plantel, llegaron hacerle frente a los “Blues”. El Chelsea fue superior en el primer tiempo, el “submarino amarillo” tuvo algunas ocasiones, pero no pudieron concretarlas. El Villareal lo fue en el segundo tramo del compromiso, pero a ninguno les alcanzó para conseguir el gol de la ventaja, y así se fueron a la prórroga. Los minutos pasaron, el cansancio se hizo notar en varios jugadores, los blues lo intentaron, hasta que el principal el ruso Sergei Karasev pito el final, y se fueron a los penales. donde Kepa Arrizabalaga se convertiría en el héroe atajando dos penales.

Análisis: Increíble cierre de temporada para los de Tuchel, después de ese 25 de mayo donde lograron coronarse como campeones de la Champions League ante el Manchester City, por segunda vez en su historia. Y celebrar, y tener por parte de Thomas esa revancha, porque había llevado al PSG a su primera final en esa competición, en donde cayeron derrotados 0-1 ante el Bayern Munich. Luego llega al equipo “Blue” y vaya que le ha ido bien. El día de hoy logran coronarse como los super campeones de Europa. La segunda en su historia. ¡Lo que ha está haciendo este técnico alemán es increíble! Fue un partido bastante atractivo, y como lo dije al principio, ya hacia falta como amante del fútbol, ver una final de este certamen que siempre será muy emocionante. Cabe destacar lo del guardameta Kepa, que solo entró para la tanda de penales, y se convirtió en el héroe, atajando de penales. Lo del Villarreal es digno de admirar, a pesar de que perdió piezas importantes, le planteó un gran partido al equipo de Londres, y ya por el hecho de haber estado disputando esta final ya son unos ganadores también. Esto será de mucha más motivación para el Chelsea de cara a la temporada en la Premier League. En donde el día sábado 14 de este mes estarán enfrentándose por la jornada 1 al Crystal Palace. Enhorabuena por el Chelsea F.C. Y gran mérito del “submarino amarillio”.

Lamentablemente no pude ver este partidazo que se decidió desde los penales. Aunque, sé que fue un gran partido por la calidad de jugadores que tienen ambos equipos.
