Tatis, Jr tiene muchísimo poder al bate y puede batear para .300 por lo que se sale de los standares del prototipo de campocorto, pero luego de una lesión, ahora mismo todo apunta a que se mudará a uno de los jardines. En su primera campaña bateó por encima de 300 con más de 20 jonrones y en la recortada campaña 2020 bateó 277 con 17 jonrones, lo cual se le proyectaba más de 30 cuadrangulares. Buenos días, amigo @ovelperez82, Mil gracias por tomarte un momento de tu tiempo para leer y emitir tus apreciados comentarios sobre mi post. Y si, efectivamente estamos ante una generación de relevo como hace mucho tiempo no se veía en MLB, pero ojo, acá sólo hablé de 5 bateadores latinos y por fuera se me quedó un grupo de jóvenes latinos que en un par de años seguro van a ser figuras, como el cubano Luis Robert, el dominicano Eloy Jiménez o Wander Franco, entre otros. Todo ello sin considerar el pitcheo, ya que para ello se requiere un post aparte dedicado a los mejores pitchers jóvenes de latinoamérica.
Ahora, si miramos un poco más allá de latinoamérica, entonces nos encontramos con otro lote de buenos peloteros jóvenes como Bo Bichete, el hijo de Dante Bichete, excompañero en los Rockies de nuestro Andrés Galarraga; Bichette perfectamente pudo ocupado el 5to. lugar de mi lista de top five menores de 25 años si no hubiese delimitado el post a sólo latinos. Otro pelotero joven a seguir sería Cavan Biggio, el hijo de Craig Biggio, entre otros.
Para finalizar y complementar mi comentario, quiero resaltar como hecho curioso, que de los 5 mejores jugadores jóvenes del MLB, con edades menores a 25 años y sin limitación de nacionalidad, 4 son hijos de expeloteros, lo cual creo que es la primera vez que ocurre. No me he documentado sobre éste particular, pero de verdad que es un hecho bien llamativo, al menos para mí que ví jugar a Guerrero Padre, Acuña Padre, Tatis padre y a Bichette padre.
