Greetings friends of Full Deportes. Welcome to my blog. Today I'm here to tell you about a wonderful experience and highly recommended for you and especially for the girls, the weekend I attended a yoga practice that was organized in conjunction with yoga teacher Gabiela Font, and a travel agency called Destinos de Sucre who took care of the transfer and logistics necessary for this activity, which was held in a truly wonderful environment the beach, where the yoga and beach connection was really wonderful, bringing immense benefits to the health and mental well-being of all. The beach where we went is called Medina Beach, very famous for its beautiful scenery, is located in the State of Sucre, Venezuela. The practice was done in a group which added even more value to this moment, since we felt an immense strength in the atmosphere full of peace, tranquility and good vibes, the result of the union of the energy emitted by each of the participants in the class..
Here are the main benefits I received from this practice:
- Sentí una inmensa conexión con la naturaleza, la playa donde fue la practica estaba prácticamente sola para nosotras, con un clima que se alineo con nuestras energías positivas para mostrarnos su mejor cara, el sonido de las olas, los hermosos colores del lugar , y el aroma salado del océano, los percibí como antes nunca lo había hecho en mis visitas a la playa. Mi estado de animo mejoro muchísimo, y el de las otras chicas también se sentía y se veía en su rostro la felicidad que transmitían, tan solo observando los paisajes naturales, la actitud se vuelve aun más positiva.
I felt an immense connection with nature, the beach where the practice was practically alone for us, with a climate that aligned with our positive energies to show us its best side, the sound of the waves, the beautiful colors of the place, and the salty aroma of the ocean, I perceived them as I had never done before in my visits to the beach. My mood improved a lot, and that of the other girls was also felt and you could see in their faces the happiness they transmitted, just by observing the natural scenery, the attitude becomes even more positive.
- La profesora inicio la practica con una pequeña meditación y ejercicios de respiración, calmando de esta forma la mente y reduciendo los niveles de estrés, ayudándonos a tranquilizar nuestro sistema nervioso. La presencia del agua nos indujo a un estado meditativo mas profundo y reforzando aun mas la paz interior y nuestro bienestar interno.Como el lugar no había señal telefónica, no hubo ningún tipo de distracción, así que para desconectarnos del mundo externo fue genial esta actividad, la única distracción era el relajante sonido de las olas y el hermoso cantar de los pájaros.
The teacher began the practice with a short meditation and breathing exercises, thus calming the mind and reducing stress levels, helping us to calm our nervous system. The presence of the water induced us to a deeper meditative state and further reinforced our inner peace and well being, as the place had no phone signal, there were no distractions, so it was great to disconnect from the outside world, the only distraction was the relaxing sound of the waves and the beautiful singing of the birds.
Como la superficie de la playa no es plana, es inestable fortalecemos aun mas nuestros músculos sobre todo en las posturas de pie, ya que debemos hacer un mayor esfuerzo para mantener el equilibrio, utilizando músculos que normalmente no utilizamos para mantener el equilibrio, también disfrutamos tratando de buscar el equilibrio ya que se hace el momento muy divertido, ya que nos caemos, hacemos posiciones bien cómicas mientras encontramos nuestro equilibrio en la superficie inestable.
As the surface of the beach is not flat, it is unstable, we strengthen our muscles even more, especially in the standing postures, since we must make a greater effort to maintain our balance, using muscles that we normally do not use to maintain our balance, we also enjoy trying to find our balance since it makes the moment very funny, as we fall, we do very funny positions while we find our balance on the unstable surface.
Hacer las secuencias de yoga con el sonido del mar, hace que busquemos una runa sintonía entre la respiración, el cuerpo y la naturaleza, lo que hace que te conectes aun mas a la practica.
Doing the yoga sequences with the sound of the sea, makes us look for a rune symphony between breath, body and nature, which makes you connect even more to the practice.
The practice lasted approximately two hours, after the meditation, we did some stretching exercises, and basic yoga postures, with balancing positions and partner work.

Un día de paseo y de yoga, excelente. Una sola vez en mi vida he practicado yoga, parece sencillo pero tiene su ciencia, se suda mucho y se trabaja con todo el cuerpo, a mi me encantó. Lástima que no he podido volver a practicar, aquí en Cumaná no hay sitios que ofrezcan esta clase, o tal vez si pero no los conozco. Saludos.
