El día jueves tres de junio del presente año comienza un nuevo reto para nuestra vinotinto, en sus aspiraciones de clasificar a su primer mundial de fútbol en su maxima categoria, los dirigidos por el portugués José Peseiro viajan a la Ciudad de La Paz para disputar el primer encuentro contra los bolivianos, correspondiente a la fecha siete de las eliminatorias, por lo que quiero analizar y evaluar para ustedes, la lista de convocados por nuestro entrenador para esta doble fecha y el posible once inicial con que saldría Venezuela en la altura para buscar los tres puntos que nos permita seguir soñando y decir presentes en Qatar 2022.

El entrenador José Peseiro durante una rueda de prensa el pasado lunes 31 de mayo, dio a conocer la lista de 30 jugadores convocados por Venezuela, en donde les tocara enfrentar a la selección de Bolivia en condición de visitante y luego recibir a Uruguay en el Olímpico de la UCV en la Ciudad de Caracas, una lista donde figuran hasta seis jugadores del torneo local, destacando que los 24 jugadores restantes ya poseen previa experiencia con la vinotinto, y también resaltar varias ausencias notables por lesión de los jugadores: Salomon Rondón, Yangel Herrera, Yordan Osorio y de último momento se confirmó Yeferson Soteldo, sin duda bajas muy sensibles, ya que son jugadores muy determinantes y fijos de esta selección, esperemos contar pronto con ellos, para los siguientes cotejos de cara al mundial, la lista quedo conformada de la siguiente manera:

La selección de Venezuela solo ha conseguido una victoria y un empate a nivel de historia en suelo boliviano, su primer triunfo fue en el año 2009 para las eliminatorias del mundial Sudáfrica 2010 con resultado de 0-1 y empato en el año 2013 con resultado 1-1 para las eliminatorias del mundial Brasil 2014, en varias ocasiones Cesar Farías era el entrenador de Venezuela, que casualmente hoy dirige a la selección de Bolivia, por lo tanto, solo hemos conseguido sacar cuatro puntos en la altura de La Paz, y este jueves tres de junio a las 4pm hora de Venezuela, va en busca de su segundo triunfo en tierra boliviana, tarea difícil pero no imposible.

1.- Wilker Fariñez:
Aunque no atraviesa su mejor momento, por su inactividad debido a los poco minutos de juego con su club el Lens de Francia, Fariñez es el llamado a asumir esta gran responsabilidad, por su jerarquia y talento debajo de los tres palos.
2.- Mikel Villanueva:
En mi opinion, Villanueva es uno de centrales de mayor peso de esta selección, no se si peseiro lo pondrá desde el inicio, pero lo veo como una buena opción para este partido.
3.- Wilker Angel:
Wilker ha sido unos de los habituales los últimos encuentros, y ha cumplido con las expectativas de Peseiro, viene haciendo dupla con Osorio, que lamentablemente no estará por lesión, es muy probable que este desde el principio frente a los bolivianos.
4.- Roberto Rosales:
Aunque no es su pierna habil, Rosales ha demostrado que puede jugar por la banda izquierda, esta es una posición que los ultimos años ha dado muchos dolores de cabeza para venezuela, otra opción puede ser Luis Mago, que viene de hacer un buen papel frente a chile, esperemos a ver que decide Peseiro para esta posicion.
5.- Alexander Gonzalez:
Este ha sido un jugador que desde mi punto de vista merece tener mas minutos en Venezuela, me gusta mucho porque brinda una opcion de ataque por la banda derecha, se caracteriza por ser un jugador de buen pie, y le gusta ir hacia delante, esperemos Peseiro le de la oportunidad.
6.- Junior Moreno:
un jugador que no hace mucho ruido, pero cumple cada vez que le corresponde salir al campo de juego, creo que debería ser el titular en la mitad de la cancha para este gran encuentro.
7.- Cristian Casseres:
Casseres a pesar de su corta edad, se ha ganado el puesto con buen juego y categoría en la mitad de la cancha, un jugador que lucha todas las pelotas y te brinda opciones tanto ofensiva como defensivamente, creo que debería ser uno de los fijos, por lo que ha demostrado y por el momento actual que esta atravesando.
8.- Tomas Rincon:
Capitan y titular indiscutible, es ese jugador que pone la calma y le da salida al equipo, es el referente.
9.- Darwin Machis:
Otro que no tiene discusión para salir desde el inicio para este cotejo, un jugador muy rápido y con buena pegada, que siempre sorprende partiendo en diagonal, ya le marco a Bolivia en la copa américa pasada.
10.- Jeferson Savarino:
Esta viviendo un buen momento, que esperemos traslade a la selección, un jugador muy habilidoso, que tiene mucho pase gol, deberia ponerlo Peserio desde el inicio.
11.- Josef Martinez
Por ultimo tenemos a Josef, que vuelve a la selección después de un largo tiempo, no se si Peseiro lo pondrá desde el inicio, debido a la poca inactividad, ya que viene saliendo de una lesión que lo dejo apartado por mas de un año de las canchas, me gustaría verlo desde el comienzo porque puede ser de mucho provecho dentro del área rival.
1.- Wilker Fariñez:

7.- Cristian Casseres:
Casseres despite his young age, has earned his place with good play and category in the middle of the field, a player who fights every ball and gives you options both offensively and defensively, I think he should be one of the regulars, for what he has shown and for the current moment he is going through.
8.- Tomas Rincon:
Captain and undisputed starter, he is that player who puts the calm and gives the team an outlet, he is the referent.
9.- Darwin Machis:
Another player who has no argument to start from the beginning for this match, a very fast player with good punch, who always surprises starting diagonally, he already scored against Bolivia in the last America Cup.
10.- Jeferson Savarino:

11.- Josef Martinez.
