El pasado jueves en suelo venezolano, se dio inicio al Campeonato Sudamericano de Fútbol SUB-20 organizado por Conmebol, el cual tiene como finalidad ser clasificatorio al Mundial de Fútbol de esa categoría a realizarse en Chile, entre los meses de septiembre y octubre de este mismo año; la selección de Venezuela tiene una nueva oportunidad de seguir creciendo con la camada de estos jugadores en dónde algunos de ellos disputaron el pasado Mundial SUB 17 bajo la dirección de Ricardo Valiño, junto a otros los cuales son repatriados desde otras partes del mundo y ahora podrán defender a la Vinotinto.
Venezuela es parte del grupo A en dónde está acompañando de selecciones como Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay y Perú; en mi opinión un grupo que si se hacen un buen papel en cada juego, se puede clasificar al hexagonal final y así luchar para ser parte de los cuatro clasificados al mundial en Chile; para lograr ese primer paso es obligatorio que exista un buen juego, que haya concentración y que estén convencidos en ser un equipo, pero aparte de todo eso, este equipo necesita que la fortuna esté a su lado, algo que siempre he pensado que tiene relevancia cuando son este tipo de torneos tan cortos, pero la fortuna no acompañó a La Vinotinto en su debut el pasado jueves contra el seleccionado de Chile, en dónde cayó derrotado por un marcador de 2 goles a 1.

En el primer juego de este torneo, Venezuela estuvo lejos de demostrar un buen fútbol; fue un equipo que no tuvo convicción en crear jugadas asociativas, no hubo conexión entre los mediocampistas y sus delanteros, se abusó del pelotazo y sumo el infortunio y desconcentración de los defensores lo cual en pocos minutos fue el causante de los dos goles recibidos por el seleccionado chileno; esto creó preocupación en los seguidores de La Vinotinto y la prensa deportiva porque como dije anteriormente, existe muchas expectativas sabiendo que el equipo pudo jugar mejor, pero sucumbieron al nerviosismo lo cual generó una desorganización, en mi opinión eso me hizo pensar que en esta selección no existe un líder dentro ni fuera del campo de juego.
Dicha preocupación antes descrita me hizo pensar sobre que reacción debería tener este joven equipo contra un nuevo rival en la rápida segunda jornada que se disputó en este sábado 25 de enero; Valiño entendió la necesidad del equipo de contar con jugadores de calidad en la ofensiva, pero mejor aún en la asociación en el medio campo para así generar las jugadas necesarias que proveen ocasiones de gol; para eso se dejó atrás en 4-4-2 contra Chile y ahora contra Perú se jugó con un 4-3-3, en dónde los cambios más significativos fue el juntar a Profeta con jugadores rápidos, con mucho sacrificio en la defensa, pero con agilidad en sus piernas y mentes; esto hizo jugar muy bien a La Vinotinto en la mitad del primer tiempo y en todo el segundo tiempo en dónde demostraron un dominio total lo cual llevo al seleccionado venezolano a golear por 4 goles a 0 a su similar de Perú.

Regreso nuevamente al término “Fortuna” para definir lo que es el desempeño de La Vinotinto en las dos primeras jornadas del CONMEBOL SUB-20, yo creo que cada quien se crea su propia suerte, puede ser buena o mala y Venezuela en su debut en el torneo jugó muy mal y eso los llevo a cometer equivocaciones los cuales les costó una derrota, el mal desempeño del staff técnico y de los jugadores con bloopers dentro del área son elementos que se pueden evitar con una mejor preparación, pero, en cambio, creo que la selección sucumbió a la presión por las expectativas que causaron; ahora en esta segunda jornada y contra el posiblemente rival más débil del grupo, La Vinotinto encontró una calma y convicción para jugar mejor y así crear una mejor suerte, lo cual fue fundamental para el primer gol del encuentro en donde se aprovechó un rebote después del cobro de un córner a favor de Venezuela y en el segundo gol el cual fue causado por un autogol de un defensor peruano; esa jugada justamente abrió la puerta para que se anotara dos goles más y así Venezuela contar con su primera victoria del torneo.
Otro factor que puedo anexar a la fortuna, es que Venezuela descansa en la tercera jornada del grupo y es importante porque después deberá jugar contra Paraguay que debe enfrentar antes a Uruguay, selección que será el último rival al que La Vinotinto deberá enfrentar para cerrar su participación en esta fase de grupos y habrá que ver si la fortuna, la buena suerte y el buen fútbol siguen estando del lado del seleccionado venezolano para así ser parte del hexagonal final.

Exactamente, creo que si la mente del jugador está en un momento adecuado se puede lograr muchas cosas y la mentalidad fue importante en el segundo juego, es pero eso que en la publicación digo que cada quien se hace su surte y espero que Venezuela pueda seguir con mentalidad positiva y de equipo para lograr el objetivo.
Creo que venezuela tiene mucho talento, estos muchachos se estan formando de la mejor manera asi que muy pronto tendremos muchos trofeos asi que bueno aqui en lara los juegos que se han dado han estado muy buenos
Impresionante el comportamiento del público en Lara apoyando a la selección, mucha asistencia para apoyar a estos jóvenes jugadores y creo que eso influye en el juego y no es la primera vez que sucede porque en Lara se disputó un sudamericano SUB-17 en la categoría femenina, torneo que Venezuela ganó y en la final, el estadio estaba lleno completamente.
Está camada de jugadores jóvenes tiene el potencial para hacer un trabajo importante en la selección y creo que por eso existe gran expectativa en ellos.
