Well, its all about making some friends here isn't it. Although I've noticed that i usually try to follow new people and show support but its not always easy to get new people to follow.
Follows and Friends
Its probably not just me, maybe it takes a really good post, or interesting personality to catch the attention of somebody, to really earn that follow...i get it....
so will you give me a follow if you haven't yet...?
Well, you don't have to, seriously. I think my feed is actually so busy, that its hard to keep up with everyones posts. So maybe some Hivers dont want to build up too huge of a list, in case of having a huge never ending feed. Or maybe some others like me, like to see a ton of posts...
its like a sea of posts...
Curating
Curating is a tricky thing to understand. Back in about 2017-2018, when i was on Steem, i just gave a hundred 100% votes to everyone, draining all my power, and not quite understanding the mechanism behind it.
In fact, im probably still doing too many 100% votes, but thats mainly because my vote power is kinda low ever since i powered down some of my Hive. To reward my favorite people and usual supporters i like to give what i can on their posts and comments. Best way is to manage the percentage of course, i can kick it down to 50% or so and there would be more to go around.
Im since, trying to rebuild, especially on these low prices. In 2 days, i will make a small transfer to hive and power it up, its been long overdue. I miss the good ol days when i had a 23k hive stake, and its insane to think that at 1 point it was worth a lot, when Hive price pumped to like $3.5. I literally have a picture of that day but I also didnt understand the concept of being ready to possibly cash out on that pump. Or maybe thats not the point around here, it really isn't.
The mechanism in place, prevent some of the crazy stuff from happening. In anticipation of that pump I could've at least had some ready though, because wow, that was some CRAZY ISH. Oh well, though, its all water under the bridge.
Characters in This Digital World
Sometimes i feel like im just a character. We kind of are right. The more knowledge i bury myself into, the more i over-think, the more i feel like im just a cartoon.
But lets end on a Hive Loving type of notion. Lets keep up the work around here, cuz plenty of people do seem to love Hive. Many honest people are creating posts, and at this token price the reward payouts actually still seem very legit. Its hard to be rewarded out in this world otherwise, so lets keep it up.

On the Hive blockchain, it is very hard to reach audience even with unique content.
And this is because of the general lack of the real content consumers on this platform.
Most people focus on posting and on earning.
This results in that the 80% (or even more) of the Hive blockchain posts are ignored/overlooked.
😄my feed is really busy and sometimes it's challenging to reply to them all. I enjoy reading often but rarely leaving a comment unless I feel strongly about it. Maybe you're just a character but I mean, don't we all? but it's best not to overthink about it. I have met a lot of great people from here and it's something that exceeds the monetary value of it.

I think as long as we are sincere, we will find our own group of friends. There's so many of us here, we can't possibly know everyone, but there are definitely people that we can click with. :)
Everything takes a process and time to learn. This post is very good because I know that there are still many who do not master the subject and the value of their vote.
