RE: Where Hivers Dean, Sean and Pean meet

in Loving HIVE ❤2 years ago

The menu is interesting to me. Is it common to translate everything to English like that in Taiwan, or was that just this coffee shop? Anyway looks like a nice place to hang out for awhile. Great that you could meet some fellow Hivers there for awhile

That looks like an interesting toy. Like your husband, I've been thinking about buying a 3d printer... I don't think I have any need for it at all, and that practicality has so far prevented me from buying one. But... I want one!

Is that a guy's thing? It has no practical use, but I want one 😄 I had to make sure I kept whangster away from hubby because I'm sure he would be a bad influence and accelerator his decision (says the wife)

On the menu, now you mention it.... I never actually noticed it, maybe I just take it for granted when I see an English translation. Now thinking back, I think it depends on the clientele. Local restaurants wouldn't unless they are quite big or expect foreigners or tourists. Some cafes do for the same reason, and maybe to add to the vibe that it's quite an international place.

haha yeah it's probably a guy thing. We get excited easily especially if it's a tech thing. We are still boys at heart (I say as I look around the room at all the junk/toys my kids collect). Women tend to have a bit more self-control.

It's so sweet of you to say that, as most husbands will say their wife have no control over how many pairs of shoes or handbags they buy 😂

I said women tend to have more self-control, not that they always do 😜
