RE: Things Ms. Dee Likes, Edition 32, August 4, 2023 [ENG/ESP]

There are some tips with that ... it is not a matter of luck at all, but strategy.

  1. Remember crypto is in a bear market, so users are down. That means being seen is harder, but that anything consistent that you do shines more.

  2. CONSISTENCY is key. Consistent posting, consistent engagement with others -- that is the first necessary thing. That ultimately builds you an audience, and some of them will be big curators as well.

  3. ENDURANCE is key. Think of yourself as a farmer. You cannot plant your crops and then come back four months later and harvest them and expect a harvest. Hive's "field" is still way, way, WAY too full of talented people for any one artist, no matter how talented he or she is, to stand out and get votes quickly. So, you will have to be consistent for a GOOD WHILE before you see a good harvest -- but if you start now, you will meet your audience just as the markets turn around.

  4. PRO STRAT: consider HOW WE HAVE MET, and what your impression now of me is. I have now put out this publication for 32 weeks, at about 20 posts a week, after three full years of being here. Imagine how many people see my name and have a good feeling about me, and MY POSTS, because I saw and recognized them FIRST. That's a pro tip that didn't originate from me, actually: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" -- but because I was a NEWSPAPER EDITOR by profession, I just have flipped that into CURATOR and COMMENTER. Hive is built for its users to CURATE and COMMENT, and that is HALF your success.

There is nothing lucky about working a SYSTEM like Hive, which is community-based. You are a talented artist, but among MANY. The artists who get an audience are the ones are build it here. That's actually true EVERYWHERE, but on Hive in a bear market, it is starkly obvious.
