The Magnificent Cebu Hive Bloggers Christmas Party 2023 : Strengthens Our Close Bond, Teamwork, Camaraderie, and Unity

Having been in Hive for 1 year and 2 months is a great opportunity for me. Hive is my coping mechanism to cope with various challenges I've encountered in my life this year. Hive not only provides me with financial aspects but the platform is my avenue for expressing my feelings and emotions especially when I'm in a troubled mind. Through writing, I can express and share my inner thoughts with you my fellow Hivers. In that way, I feel that I'm not alone and I have someone to lend on. That is why I'm forever grateful to Hive and most especially to these two significant persons Miss @indayclara and Sr @ybanezkim26 for their all-out support and guidance. As my way of expressing my gratitude to them, every time they have planned an activity, I always support them too.

This Yuletide season @indayclara and Sr @ybanezkim26 organized a Christmas Party for all Cebu Hive Bloggers. Im happy when they planned it for it was our chance to meet and greet our fellow hive bloggers in Cebu and create strong bonds, team building, camaraderie, and unity with each other.

The plan was realized and we had our party last December 26, 2023, at Sacaan Tropical Beach Resort at Sitio Sacaan, Tabunok, Sogod, Cebu. So my dear Hive friends in this blog, I will share with you the fantastic and magnificent Christmas Party 2023 of all Cebu Hive Bloggers.

The party was planned ahead of time so that there would be no overlapping of schedules. Aside from that, this is to gather the number of participants who will join the party. At first, only a few committed to join but later the expected number of participants was realized. The Party was scheduled to last December 26, 2023, and the venue was in Sacaan, Tropical Beach Resort. It was @indayclara who booked our venue, food, and for our registration. We had our registration of 650.00 and this includes the venue, food and drinks.

About the Venue

Sacaan Tropical Beach Resort is located at Sitio Sacaan, Tabunok, Borbon, Cebu. If you were from the City or Bogo you would drop off barangay Damolog and you will ride a tricycle going to Sacaan. From the highway of Borbon Tabogon Road, if you are going to Tabogon, it's in the right side. Just look at the signage of Sacaan Tropical Beach Resort. It's 700 meters away from the main road.

The beach is simple but elegant because of its view which is overlooking. Our party was held on the rockview of the beach. So when I arrived, I proceeded to the venue and filled in the attendance sheet. Then I was given a name tag by @jobeliever
containing my username and my code name at the back. While waiting for other participants I saw the organizer and other participants too. So I meet and greet with them. After that, we sat down at the table and chairs provided just enough for us the almost 40 participants while waiting for the event to start. So we find it comfortable while looking at the beachfront while enjoying the sea breeze too.

When almost all the participants arrived, we started the program. Our host of the day was @callmesmile.It was commenced by acknowledging God's dominion over our hearts. Then it was followed by welcome remarks by Sr @ybanezkim26. After that was a role call and acknowledgment of participants. Each one of us walked on stage wearing our Hawaiian-themed attire. We showed our style of walking and took a pose on stage. It was @indayclara who did it first then we followed after her as announced by @callmesmile. That was a very fun and exciting moment.

After the fashion show, we started the game. The first game was blowing the balls on top of the turned cups. Two teams played. The winner received the hive T-shirt sponsored by Sr @ybanezkim26. After each game was the presentation of each group. The participants were grouped into 4 and each group prepared a presentation. The participants were very creative in their presentation. There were groups presented a daygon and some were dancing others were both singing and dancing.

After some games and a presentation, we took our lunch for it was already lunchtime. The food was prepared and served to the beach personnel. Other participants like @lovinglymers and company brought some foods like lechon
manok, vegetable lumpia, oranges, and others. Some brought cupcakes and I also brought puto cuchinta. Therefore we shared a lot of food during our lunch. Thus we enjoyed it as we savor our delicious meals. Indeed we had a full and contented stomach.

After our lunch, we continued our games and presentation. Then we had our awarding of winners. For the presentation, our group won. We all received a Hive, Hiveph, and OCD T-shirt. Indayclara also gave chocolates as a consolation prize. Sr Kim distributed all participants the hive tote bag and with that, we all had happy hearts. Were so thankful and blessed to all the donors who shared a little amount for the prizes and giveaways.

A celebration is not complete without an exchange of gifts. Indyclara facilitated the exchange of gifts with a twist. We were all excited about whom we would give our gift for we only knew the code name. We don't even know if it's a boy or a girl. We only got an idea through their wishes. After having our exchange gift @indayclara delivered her words of gratitude to all Hivers who participated in the event. We were also thankful to them for organizing the activity. That was a magnificent party that strengthened our close bond, teamwork, camaraderie, and unity as a family. After the words of gratitude were the photo opportunity of all Hivers participants with @indayclara, Sr @ybanezkim26, and @intoy.bugoy. The event ended with so much joy and pride as members of the platform. Because of the Hive, we gathered together as one family with one goal and vision.
