I'm glad my post was able to help you. Welcome to Hive!
1. Sign-up to an exchange that supports Hive & get a 'wallet' there.
(ie: Coinsquare, Binance, Bittrex, etc.)
2. Fund your exchange's wallet with a fiat currency.
(ie: USD, CAD, The Euro, etc.)
Now that you have funds in your exchange, first buy some Bitcoin or Ethereum with it.
(This is because Hive is only purchaseable with cryptocurrency, afaik.)
Use your Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) to purchase Hive.
Note: I believe this is correct, but other Hivers may know better than me.
