RE: Alianza estratégica con HIVE - Zircon Wallet

in Loving HIVE ❤2 years ago

Sounds great for Hive, although I am not too excited about the Zircon's survival chances.

I understand the value proposition is to connect a merchant who wants to accept coin A with a consumer who wants to pay with coin B. Correct?

If so, I do understand the consumer side. OTOH, once a Solana merchant starts collecting enough payments from Hive consumers, I expect them to set up a Hive account to collect in a fee-less way.

Is my thought process giving too much credit to the merchants? Or should I expect Zircon to survive mostly on micromerchants (those who are better off paying 2.5% then spend their time on alternative wallets)?

I need to follow up with these guys.

Yes to the first ?, follow on to that also makes sense that once the monetary incentives tip..... the easiest way to integrate with them is probably just getting a Zircon wallet for ecobank and accepting Solana - and talking about Hive with anyone who actually pays in crypto.

In these theories I think everyone gives too much credit to everybody because even with HIVE accounts, further onboarding seems to require time and effort and continuous human contact. I don't know how much money it will take for merchants to jump that gap, but in my experience everyone is focused on their own thing.

I did make a lot of good contacts, some of which I'll follow up with one day. But there simply is not an incentive system I can imagine that can make it worth my while to handhold individuals or small and medium sized crypto projects instead of just focusing on building my own better.
