Mis primeros pasos en Hive

Hola, amigos de Hive. De todo corazón espero que hoy, sea un lindo día para ustedes. Les cuento una cosa… Hoy me levante con ganas de escribir, sobre una película que ayer vi por segunda vez en menos de tres días.

En realidad, no fue porque me gusto demasiado y quise repetirla. Sino más bien, porque estaba en compañía de la familia, buscando en la programación de Netflix. Entonces, mi cuñada me hablo sobre la nueva película de Sandra Bullock . Entonces, le comente que la había visto, la buscamos y ella quería verla.

“más bien, sobre eso es que debo escribir”, y aquí estoy.Así que sin más, nos pusimos a verla. Esta película, me ha hecho reflexionar sobre varios aspectos de la vida. Por eso quiero escribir sobre ella. Sin embargo, me acorde de mis fracasos en @Hive. Así que me dije a mi misma:

Empezando mal en Hive ❌

Supe de Hive por una amiga, que no tenía experiencia en la escritura de artículos. A su vez, ella se enteró de Hive, por un cuñado suyo, que ya tenía un tiempo en la plataforma. Poco a poco ha ganado destrezas y le ha ido muy bien. En realidad, admiro mucho su trabajo, y en general sus publicaciones tienen mucho éxito y son muy buenas.

Pero les cuento que yo comencé con el pie izquierdo, y aun no he podido cambiar de pie jajajaja 🤭. Pero sigo aquí, con los guantes medio puestos. A pesar de tener experiencia previa en la redacción de artículo para páginas web, lo que he hecho por alrededor de 3 años de forma más o menos regular, aun no consigo hacerlo bien en Hive.

Cuando mi amiga me hablo Hive, comencé a investigar por mis propios medios. Por eso, creé mi cuenta y no sabía más que hacer. Le pregunte algunas cositas y empecé a escribir mi primer artículo, con una especie de presentación. Pero, sin investigar nada más al respecto, asumí que las tags funcionaban como las keywords en los artículos para páginas web. Esto fue mi primer gran error.

Solo escribí mi artículo y ya, sin tener ningún resultado, y decidí dejar el asunto de lado. Porque no me gusta molestar mucho, ni estar preguntando con insistencia. En ese momento trate de buscar información al respecto pero me di por vencida.

Mis siguientes pasos en Hive 🦶

Aproximadamente un mes después, converse con mi amiga y ella me dio una serie de recomendaciones y otras más que le consultaba a su cuñado. Entonces, me propuse a modificar mi post de presentación, lo cual fue mi segundo gran error.

En ese momento sabía menos que nada del funcionamiento de la plataforma. Como por ejemplo, que un post, tiene un tiempo de vigencia de 7 días o algo así. Pero igual, mejore el contenido, agregue imágenes propias e incluso modifique los tags.

Luego escribí mi segundo artículo, y me emocione mucho al empezar a tener las primeras reacciones. Precisamente, ese post lo publique en la comunidad de @cervantes, aunque no tuvo muy buenos resultados.

Luego, con mi tercer post, tuve las suficiente razones para emocionarme y querer continuar en esta aventura. También en mi cuarto post me fue bien.

De mis inicio hasta hoy 📈

Bueno mis amigos, luego de esos posts iniciales, no me ha ido tan bien. Aun no logro descifrar la razón. A pesar de que me gusta mucho escribir, me apasionan muchos diferentes temas y le dedico tiempo y empeño a mis publicaciones, no logro dar en el clavo 📌.

Desde joven, en el liceo y luego en la universidad, siempre he sido buena estudiante. Sin embargo, me gustaban mucho, aquellas materias que aunque eran difíciles, requerían de mi mayor empeño para lograrlas entender. Pero, a pesar de ello, me encontré con algunas que no logré entender del todo. Aunque las conseguí superar solo trabajando a toda máquina, pero sin mucha motivación propia, solo con la intención de pasar la materia. Por eso esas materias nunca me llegaron a gustar.

Lo que si me gusta es, porque lo entiendo, porque lo domino y al final logro hacerlo bien. Pero, no se puede con todo en la vida jajaja.

“No podemos ser buenos en absolutamente todo lo que hacemos, pero si podemos hacer absolutamente todo en lo que si somos buenos”.

Se me acaba de ocurrir esa frase. Espero que nadie la haya pensado antes que yo 😉. No lo he googleado. Por eso, sepan que si la consiguen por allí ya acuñada, no intenté hacer alguna forma de plagio o atribuirme algo de otro 🤔. Sería simplemente que somos amas gemelas o algo así y pensamos igual.

En mi intento de hacerlo mejor en Hive 👩‍💻

Una vez consulte algunas dudas, en especial sobre el fracaso del primer post, en un canal de Discord. Allí me sugirieron que escribiera un post introductorio de nuevo. Pero en un post en la comunidad de @cervantes o de uno de sus curadores, ya no recuerdo, leí que el mal uso de la etiqueta #introducemyself puede ser penalizado. Por esa razón no estoy segura de que hacerlo sea lo mejor ¿Ustedes que me dicen?

Me gustan una infinidad de temas. A veces pienso que tengo una personalidad indefinida o algún tipo de trastorno. Soy ingeniero en sistema y me gustan temas de tecnología, me encanta el cine, la música y las manualidades. También, la naturaleza y todo lo que ella abarca, la fotografía, los viajes, la decoración, el maquillaje.

Tampoco puedo dejar de mencionar la cocina, la repostería, el diseño gráfico, la salud, la familia, la costura, el bricolaje, el baile, la escritura y mucho otros temas más.

Aunque debo decirte que, en algunos post me ha ido mejor, pero en general no muy bien. Por lo pronto, seguiré intentándolo. Para ver si puedo seguir dedicándole el tiempo y esfuerzo que he estado haciendo en Hive e incluso mucho más. O si simplemente lo dejo como un medio para hacer catarsis.

Muchos quizás se sientan identificados conmigo, otros quizás se animen a darme un consejo. De cualquier forma, es un placer estar por aquí y compartir con ustedes.

My first steps in Hive

Hello, Hive friends. From the bottom of my heart I hope that today, is a nice day for you. I tell you one thing... Today I woke up feeling like writing, about a movie that I saw yesterday for the second time in less than three days.

Actually, it wasn't because I liked it too much and wanted to repeat it. Rather, it was because I was in the company of the family, looking through Netflix programming. Then, my sister-in-law told me about the new Sandra Bullock movie. So, I commented to her that I had seen it, we looked it up and she wanted to see it.

"rather, that's what I should write about ", and here I am.So without further ado, we set about watching it. This movie has made me reflect on several aspects of life. That is why I want to write about it. However, I remembered my failures in @Hive. So I said to myself:

Getting off to a bad start in Hive ❌.

I learned about Hive from a friend, who had no experience in article writing. She, in turn, learned about Hive, from a brother-in-law of hers, who had already been on the platform for a while. She has gradually gained skills and has done very well. Actually, I admire her work a lot, and in general her publications are very successful and very good.

But I tell you that I started with the left foot, and I still haven't been able to change my footing hahahaha 🤭. But I'm still here, with the gloves half on. Despite having previous experience in writing article for websites, which I have been doing for about 3 years on a more or less regular basis, I still can't get it right in Hive.

When my friend told me about Hive, I started to investigate on my own. So, I created my account and I didn't know what else to do. I asked her a few questions and started to write my first article, with a kind of presentation. But, without researching anything else about it, I assumed that tags worked like keywords in articles for web pages. This was my first big mistake.

I just wrote my article and that was it, without getting any results, and decided to leave the matter aside. Because I don't like to bother too much, or to be asking insistently. At that point I tried to look for information about it but I gave up.

My next steps in Hive 🦶

About a month later, I had a conversation with my friend and she gave me a series of recommendations and others that she consulted with her brother-in-law. So, I set out to modify my introduction post, which was my second big mistake.

At that time I knew less than nothing about how the platform worked. Like, for example, that a post has a 7-day shelf life or something like that. But anyway, I improved the content, added my own images and even modified the tags.

Then I wrote my second article, and I was very excited to start getting the first reactions. Precisely, that post I published in the @cervantes community, although it didn't have very good results.

Then, with my third post, I had enough reasons to get excited and want to continue in this adventure. Also in my fourth post I did well.

From my beginnings until today 📈

Well my friends, after those initial posts, I have not been doing so well. I still can't figure out why. Even though I really like to write, I am passionate about many different topics and I dedicate time and effort to my publications, I can't seem to hit the nail on the head 📌.

Since I was young, in high school and then in college, I have always been a good student. However, I liked very much those subjects that, although they were difficult, required my greatest effort to understand them. But, in spite of that, I found myself with some that I could not fully understand. Although I managed to overcome them only by working at full speed, but without much self-motivation, only with the intention of passing the subject. That's why I never liked those subjects.

What I do like is, because I understand it, because I master it and in the end I manage to do it well. But, you can't do everything in life hahaha.

We can not be good at absolutely everything we do, but we can do absolutely everything we are good at".

I just thought of that phrase. I hope no one thought of it before me 😉. I haven't googled it. So, know that if you get it out there already coined, I didn't try to do some form of plagiarism or attribute something to myself from someone else 🤔. It would simply be that we are twin mistresses or something and think alike.

In my attempt to do better on Hive 👩💻

I once consulted some doubts, especially about the failure of the first post, in a discord channel. There they suggested me to write an introductory post again. But in a post in the @cervantes community or one of its curators, I don't remember anymore, I read that misuse of the #introducemyself tag can be penalized. For that reason I'm not sure if doing so is the best thing to do, what do you say?

I like a myriad of topics. Sometimes I think I have an undefined personality or some kind of disorder. I am a systems engineer and I like technology, I love movies, music and crafts. Also, nature and all that it encompasses, photography, travel, decoration, makeup.

I also can't fail to mention cooking, baking, graphic design, health, family, sewing, DIY, dancing, writing and much more.

Although I must tell you that, in some posts I have done better, but in general not very well. For the time being, I will keep trying. To see if I can continue dedicating the time and effort I've been doing in Hive and even much more. Or if I just leave it as a means of catharsis.

Luego, debes tener claro que no solo es publicar, tienes que encontrar la forma de hacer vida en alguna comunidad, es la forma en que te vas a dar a conocer. La actividad de Discord es vital, allí se da la interacción de las comunidades. Hay muchas comunidades latinas que tienen programas de curación en vivo, además de otro tipo de programas. Participa allí en todo lo que puedas. LLeva tus publicaciones a todos los programas de curación en vivo, de ese modo te darás cuenta como mejorar.
