After our online event and the blogging contest thatcan be referred to in this post Project Diary 3 - More Updates on Bridging Hive and Creativity in Indonesia, we’ve finally got our top three winners of the blogging contest and one favorite winner which was decided through an instagram voting.
Before diving into it more, let’s back up first, the event was organized as a part of our collaboration introducing HIVE to the Indonesian market.
As a writing community, we see this as an opportunity to also introduce the writers of a tremendous opportunity to grow and embrace technology. So far, we received great enthusiasm from the participants as we have managed to gather more than 40 people into our event and half of them participated in the contest. We certainly didn’t expect to have received such enthusiasm for this event and the contest.
Some of the contest participants are also re-blogged through this account and while it is in Indonesia/Bahasa indonesia, it is encouraged to use the peakd translation feature in case you’re interested in understanding their content.
We’re happy with the result so far but we’ve met with some challenges along the way as some of the participants were found to be using AI and plagiarized from other sources. As per our policy during the contest, they were eliminated. That leaves us with some amazing contestants who truly put their effort into this contest and it was pretty challenging for us to decide the winners.
Our judges consisted of two delegations from @menulisid and @macchiata. It took the three of them quite a while to decide and some discussion and heated debate to decide the winner.
After a long decision, they’ve finally come to an agreement, these are the winners of the contest. @husnulmenulisid @anargyaandin & @yogiyudistio and the favorite winner is @aprizayanti86
In deciding for these winners we have 5 aspects that were used to score the contestant. It includes the SEO-friendliness, the structure, the originality, impact of their content and creativity of the content.
We hope that the works of the participants can be read through hive and peakd. We also hope that you enjoy it, stay tuned for more updates especially for our offline event.
