El 4 de abril de 2023, decidí embarcarme en una hermosa aventura a través de esta increíble plataforma. Hoy quiero compartir cómo comenzó mi recorrido y qué me llevó a incursionar en este nuevo camino. Ayer celebré dos años desde que mi vida dio un giro rotundo; pasé de ser una persona dedicada al hogar, la familia y mi gratificante trabajo como profesora de educación especial, a explorar nuevas oportunidades y desafíos.
On April 4, 2023, I decided to embark on a beautiful adventure through this incredible platform. Today I want to share how my journey began and what led me to embark on this new path. Yesterday I celebrated two years since my life took a complete turn; I went from being a person dedicated to home, family and my rewarding job as a special education teacher, to exploring new opportunities and challenges.

Mi esposo llevaba dos años incursionando en Hive, y aunque lo apoyaba tomando fotos y ayudándole en lo que necesitara, nunca hubo una propuesta concreta para que yo me uniera a esta aventura. Debido a mis problemas de salud, específicamente fibromialgia y ansiedad, él no había considerado que fuera el momento adecuado para que yo participara. Sin embargo, durante las festividades de Carnaval del año 2023, me invitó a promocionar Hive, y acepté de inmediato para acompañarlo. Allí tuve la oportunidad de conocer a personas maravillosas que me recibieron con mucho cariño.
My husband had been involved in Hive for two years, and although I supported him by taking photos and helping him with whatever he needed, there was never a concrete proposal for me to join this adventure. Due to my health issues, specifically fibromyalgia and anxiety, he hadn't felt it was the right time for me to participate. However, during the Carnival festivities of 2023, he invited me to promote Hive, and I readily agreed to join him. There I had the opportunity to meet wonderful people who received me with great affection.
Durante mi recorrido observando cómo promocionaban Hive, comencé a entender de qué se trataba realmente esta plataforma, lo que despertó mi curiosidad. Sin embargo, no tomé la decisión de unirme en ese momento. Pasaron los días y en otro evento conocí a un grupo enorme de personas que me trataron como si nos conociéramos de toda la vida. Allí, comenzaron a preguntarme por qué no estaba en Hive. Cada actividad a la que asistía me enamoraba aún más de lo que aprendía. Cuando les explicaba que mi ausencia se debía a mis problemas de salud, ellos solían responderme: 'No te preocupes, eso podría ser un desestrés para ti'.
During my tour watching them promote Hive, I began to understand what this platform was really about, which piqued my curiosity. However, I did not make the decision to join at that time. Days passed and at another event I met a huge group of people who treated me as if we had known each other all our lives. There, they started asking me why I was not in Hive. Each activity I attended made me fall even more in love with what I was learning. When I explained to them that my absence was due to my health problems, they used to reply, 'Don't worry, that could be a stress buster for you'.
Con la llegada de las festividades de Semana Santa, se organizó un evento aún más grande para promocionar Hive, y de inmediato le sugirieron a mi esposo que me llevara. Aunque aún no estaba inmersa en Hive, ya formaba parte de la comunidad de Hive Sucre. Cada actividad que realizaban me invitaban a participar, y siempre estaba ahí como apoyo. En ese evento, los fundadores le dijeron a mi esposo que debía abrirme una cuenta y que hiciera mi presentación, ya que había estado recorriendo todos los lugares con ellos y realmente formaba parte del equipo.
With the arrival of the Easter holidays, an even bigger event was organized to promote Hive, and they immediately suggested to my husband that he take me along. Although I was not yet immersed in Hive, I was already part of the Hive Sucre community. I was invited to participate in every activity they held, and I was always there to support them. At that event, the founders told my husband that he should open an account for me and that I should make my presentation, since I had been touring all the places with them and was really part of the team.
Confieso que cuando escuché esto, me llené de felicidad. Sin embargo, cuando llegó el momento de hacer mi primera publicación, me invadieron los nervios; realmente tenía sentimientos encontrados, pero me sentía tranquila porque tenía a mi maestro en casa. Han pasado ya dos años y puedo decirles que ha sido mi mejor experiencia, llena de retos, desafíos y mucho trabajo en beneficio de la comunidad. Lo más bonito de este camino ha sido conocer a tantos hivers de la ciudad y las maravillosas amistades que he forjado. Hoy celebro mis dos años con unos deliciosos besos de coco, brindando por los éxitos y vivencias obtenidas. Ahora me despido enviándoles muchas bendiciones y deseos de éxito. 🙏 ¡Hasta pronto! 👋
I confess that when I heard this, I was filled with happiness. However, when the time came to make my first publication, I was overcome with nerves; I really had mixed feelings, but I felt calm because I had my teacher at home. Two years have passed and I can tell you that it has been my best experience, full of challenges, challenges and a lot of work for the benefit of the community. The most beautiful part of this journey has been meeting so many hivers in the city and the wonderful friendships I have forged. Today I celebrate my two years with some delicious coconut kisses, toasting the successes and experiences obtained.
